shoshi asked me to post a thread about this so I'm doing it for her and I also think that it makes for a rather interesting discussion. I think that it's a good idea but I'm not sure how well that it would be able to be carried out.

We made a conscious decision not to put munitions in space. But we have put spy satellites in space. We can look at things on the ground, follow them and even listen in on things said over radios and landlines. That actually is done by the military

As far as dumb ideas go, that's one of the dumbest.

Assuming it works ... a big if, given how often the Starship rockets explode ... in the time it takes to prep and load a rocket, you could have had a fleet of C-17s making drops.
