" Laws In Nature Versus Hubris Of Contemporary Natural Law Theorists "

* Rite To Life Is Conditional And Legal Positivism *

Prior to entering into a social civil agreement according to a constitution , individuals are subject to moral relativism within nature , and to improve quality of life and opportunity for survival natural freedoms are exchanged for protected rites in that a retort is issued for violations of legal the legal construct .

A law exists because there is an entity capable of and issuing a retort for violations of some legal pretext , such as a state , while claims that there is a law of goad is hubris .

The literal meaning of an after life is genetic continuance , via a sophisticated physical state that is necessary for sentience , sapience and introspection that is afforded as life , where failure to do so in perpetuity is ascribed the metaphors of final judgement or eternal damnation .

A subject altruism of an ego is that its introspection should exist in perpetuity , however from empirical evidence within nature , not every instance of introspection is required to satisfy a subjective altruism of ego ; any thing that can be alienated is not inalienable including life .

See, I'm not so bad after all.

God does not put lies into people's heads. That is the devil who does that. And it's just like the devil to put evil thoughts in one's head and then do all he can to get you to believe it is GOD being evil...
Ok. Satan creates evil and not God.

You place someone above Yahweh.

Not surprising given Yahweh's immoral policies.

Keep reading. You'll find lots of times when the god depicted in the bible was petty and cruel. Nothing like the loving, caring, and forgiving god Jesus talked about.

Where was God petty and cruel?

Jesus didn't talk about God. Jesus was/is God.

Where did Jesus talk against God?

The Church didn't put people to death via the Inquisition Courts.

The Church (clergy) would investigate a case against a suspected heretic (heresy was seen in those days as being treasonous and/or otherwise criminal/dangerous to society). The person questioned had a chance to hear the TRUE doctrines of the Church. If he defied those doctrines, he was suspected or accused outright of being a heretic. If he persisted in denying Church doctrine, he was handed over to the state and it was the STATE (kings, queens, etc) who decided if he should be put to death or not. It was the state who executed them, and a lot of the time, the priests and bishops would intercede to spare the person's life.

Those who condemn the Church Christ founded (which amazingly has sinners in it--Who knew??!!) should focus their accusations on the secular rulers of the times.

If the accused recanted his heresy, he was not executed.

Prisoners who had committed other crimes usually asked to be tried by the Inquisition Court because they knew that the clergy feared God and would be fair w/ them.

Don't you know the devil hates Catholicism and puts out LIES constantly against it? He doesn't want you to be saved. He wants to drag you into Hell. And he LIES to achieve that nefarious goal.

It has always been the true teaching of the Catholic Church--founded by Jesus-- that there is no salvation outside of it.

It's too bad that many religions disagree with that hype.

Where did Jesus talk against God?
Jews follow the Oral Torah and strive both for and against God. He did not so much talk against God as to try to get us to step up to our spiritual natures. As to Jesus being Yahweh or Trinity, that means that he would have used time travel to be born to impregnate his own mother. Supernatural belief should be scraped for better thinking. Read the Bible and see that that is what it says.

Is the death penalty un-Christian or un-civilized?

No. In life there must be consequences, and merely locking someone away for a few years for a brutal assassination where they spend their days watching TV and playing ping pong only to be let out early on good behavior only leads to encouraging, not discouraging, more heinous crimes upon society, risking yet more lives.

What of our known mistake in killing innocent people? What of that known risk?

You tell me. Make your point. Are you advocating for no capital punishment to deter serious crimes?
Or are you claiming that more people would die of wrongful convictions than of those killed by the mass-propagation of escalating crime?

And the question begs: Since people already spend years on death row waiting for the electric chair, ample time for their attorney to find them innocent, can you really suggest that any appreciable more people would die on this planet due to wrongful executions than all the folks saved by deterring criminals from taking life???

taking life
My point is simple. Only a hypocrite will preach that he promotes all human life ;while killing it. Sure, we would all like to see vile murderers die, but our honor and duty to each other means keeping killing of humans at a minimum. Even as we argue here, I have to think of one of my interlocutors a a possible victim and am duty bound to try to, prevent it.

No. In life there must be consequences,
Indeed.

What of a jury that judges wrong and the plaintiff already dead?

What of the murderers parents who abuse him for all of his life and drove him to do evil?

So how do you enforce laws protecting the public good then? Slap them on the hand? Take away their ping pong balls? No hot water in the shower? Mind you, in this case, the death penalty is reserved for AGGRAVATED murder--- this is a special, higher plateau of crime which recognizes the particularly abhorrent nature of the crime.

Funny that you give no truck to all of the people who die in jail murdered by other prisoners.

But our honor and duty to each other means keeping killing of humans at a minimum.
That is why the death penalty is reserved for only the most abominable crimes.

Half the time, they error the other way too and set guilty people free. Then those guilty criminals go on to murder yet more innocent people.

What of it?

I was listening to radio personality, Erik Erikson, while driving home the other day. He was arguing that those against the death penalty are those who do not respect for life. He points out that nations that have no death penalty are also nations who favor abortion on demand...again showing lack of respect for life.

Did Jesus ever say 'our spiritual natures' were against God? Did the Old Testament, the Law of Moses ever declare itself against God? Did Jesus ever declare He or the Old Testament, or the Law of Moses was against God?

God the Father, and God the Son, are different persons. No need for time travel.

I have and do read the Bible. Perhaps you should also before you make such ignorant statements.

I don't know who that was, but at first after Kirk's killing, I thought how inappropriate it would be for a christian evangelist to want the death penalty for another, but the more I thought of it, irregardless of how Erika Kirk might feel or wish to act, that the action of Aggravated Murder demanded a death penalty.

It is a given that the life of Tyler Robinson will never amount to shit; he'll be lucky if someone doesn't off him in jail awaiting sentencing. So, the ONE GOOD THING Tyler can still do with his life is to die now to show others who might consider doing stuff like he did that it might give them a second thought now to doing it themselves, thus saving lives.

Being executed is a far jump from 10-20 years of incarceration, free room and board, free meals, free healthcare, free clothes, no need to work, free computer access, free TV, ping pong, gymnasium, and showers, followed by early dismissal for good behavior.

What of it?
When do we accept the collective blame for creating murderers?

We make them, then kill them off, and say what good people we are.
