You bet, God is genocidal. No one can measure up to Him when it comes to genocide. That includes eternal genocide.

I don't choose God. God chooses me and all the rest of His people.

And God is good. Not according to you, but then, who cares what you think? You are not of God. You do what your father desires, and I do what my Father desires.

Pretty simple.

never denied it was.

save it. you support donny, & the rest of the (R) party who are dehumanizing real human beings, with real post born lives, with real human experiences because they are brown.

Nice zone 1 racism accusation there.

Here's the thing. I don't need rationalization to have my view on abortion. I put the limit on birth control abortions as 10-12 weeks, life of the mother or fetal viability after that.

I realize my view condemns a living human life to death, but it's the compromise between my moral compass and my libertarian streak.

You have to make stuff up to justify your position.

"The Church didn't put people to death. Get some REAL information, for crying out loud."

Crusades, military expeditions, beginning in the late 11th century, that were organized by western European Christians in response to centuries of Muslim wars of expansion. Their objectives were to check the spread of Islam, to retake control of the Holy Land in the eastern Mediterranean, to conquer pagan areas, and to recapture formerly Christian territories; they were seen by many of their participants as a means of redemption and expiation for sins. Between 1095, when the First Crusade was launched, and 1291, when the Latin Christians were finally expelled from their kingdom in Syria, there were numerous expeditions to the Holy Land, to Spain, and even to the Baltic; the Crusades continued for several centuries after 1291. Crusading declined rapidly during the 16th century with the advent of the Protestant Reformation and the decline of papal authority.

The Christians slaughtered the Gnostics, persecuted Jews for 2000 years and waged a church lead war against Muslims.
All in the name of a god of peace.
Ignore because you cant defend

Please see the Jewish/intelligent view.

Bogus? Yet you offer nothing but agreement on the immorality of Yahweh. No argument against. Just your worthless opinion.
It couldn't be too worthless, you reacted to it.

In any case, I have no idea what you refer to.. 1st sentence, then next to the last one.

If you think no Christian ever gets angry with God (often justifiably... or so it seems/feels)

You are the one who has a worthless "opinion"

Protestants slaughtered MEN OF GOD, namely priests (after Henry VIII, erstwhile Catholic ditched the pope and the Church he was raised in and thought HE would become the pope instead...

So just go away with your one sided, ignorant view of "history" so called

Slaughter is the key word The slaughter of Constantinople
The Fourth Crusade, promulgated by Pope Innocent III in 1198, was corrupted from its purpose early on. In order to repay Venice for shipping most of the crusaders, largely French, eastward, they were obliged to seize Zara on the Adriatic from Christian Hungary on Venice’s behalf. Incensed that the crusaders had attacked a Christian settlement and not the Muslim foe, Innocent excommunicated the crusaders en masse, effectively removing any legitimacy from their crusade.
Meanwhile exiled Byzantine prince Alexius offered a cash reward if he were put on the Byzantine throne. The crusaders therefore sailed to Constantinople and in July 1203 set up Alexius as emperor. In February 1204 the new emperor was murdered and replaced by courtier Alexius Ducas, who told the crusaders to leave. The crusaders responded by laying siege to Constantinople. A first assault on the city’s defenses was repelled with heavy losses, but on April 12 the crusaders were successful. Men swarmed up the masts of ships and scrambled across catwalks to reach the tops of the city walls. Other ships landed men on the shoreline to hack at a bricked-up gateway with picks and shovels. When a hole was broken through, Aleaumes of Clari crawled in to find the street beyond almost deserted. Hundreds of crusaders came through the enlarged hole, fought their way to a main gate, and opened it to their comrades. For three days the army pillaged at will, and then the nobles imposed order and began a more systematic looting of the greatest city in Christendom. The crusader nobleman Baldwin of Flanders was set up as emperor, but most Byzantines refused to recognize him, and the empire fragmented into four quarreling, scattered states, never to recover its former greatness.
Losses: Crusader, unknown of 20,000; Byzantine, unknown of 30,000, plus unknown civilian losses.

How utterly insane... thinking you can "choose a... God"

No, you have to deal with THE God, and He does not change because YOU or any other human wants Him to, no matter how hard you may plead with Him... though He does hear prayers and answers according to HIS will

Father knows best... "Throw a temper tantrum all you want," He seems to say --and often-- "I am not going to spoil you by giving you what you whine and scream about. but I will [whatever]"

Father knows best

God doesn't change but humans... that is all they should be doing all day long 24/7/365

I don't read your false history posts, which even though I cannot prove that ALL of it is indeed false... if some of it is, I'm gone.

I'll take the Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself (and Jesus is God) ANY DAY over your phony, false - history religion any day... and forever. :)

You call it Primitive.

I call it something else.

We'll find out in the end who is correct.

I know I am. But you... you certainly don't know what all I know.. but then again, few at the forum do.. and when I try to inform them... they just shrug it off... as though they can invent reality itself. They can invent God and he's obviously whomever they want Him to be..

Reality comes too late for many. I say that because Jesus said that FEW make it to Heaven. Canonized saints have said exceedingly few... like less than 1% so it looks like they believe what they want all the way to their deathbeds and by that time... too late.

That should scare people... but they are often entrenched in believing exactly what they want to believe... and so they do not seek and find as per Jesus's instructions... and in the end are not of the few who make it..

Its based on dualism from Zoroastrianism a battle between good and evil. Christianity comes from pagan primitive. beliefs. Easter fertility celebration Christmas the winter solstice. Hell and Satan are gods of evil and good. They couldnt understand the abstract god of the Jews. They needs something dumbed down fir the common people. The one thing that saved you is the 10 Commandments. Adopting those moral values brought about the change needed. OK so it took 2000 years better late than never. Still using hell as threat to force obedience is still a primitive value.

I have had direct experience with the after life. Its a natural part of our existence. Its beautiful and good and its part of our lives now. They watch over us and try and steer us.

There is no original sin in Genesis or the fall of man

No, it is based on JESUS CHRIST and what He and His Church say... I don't know anything about Zoroastrianism except that it is a false religion that existed b4 the Real One came to us...
