Carr is 51 million toward the cap next year and 61 the year after that. No one is trading for him. He's 50 million in dead money if they cut him in 2025 and 28 mil in 26. The Saints might try and trade Rattler, but Carr will be the starter for NO for the next 2 years and they will be likely trading down this year and drafting a QB after next season (if they are smart) This years draft class is terrible for QB's. Derek Carr isnt a great QB but he's leaps and bounds ahead of Rattler.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe for the NYG next year....
So in addition to being unable to gauge talent you also don’t understand the salary cap….LOL!!
We'll see...

Clearly you dont. No one is trading for that contract, and if they cut him they are still on the hook for the 51 million, which would be 20% of their cap in dead money. At best they might cut him in 2026 when it's only a 28 million dollar hit. There's no way they eat 51 million so they can start Rattler with his sub 50% completion percentage and 1:1 TD:Int ratio. They would essentially be paying top of the market for a bottom of the field talent. Why do you think the Browns haven't traded or cut Watson?Very much do actually. That's why Carr is gone. He isn't worth anything near that contract. He is a cap on the ceiling of the team and the ability to add talent via UFA and keep existing talent.
This draft class is definitely not great but Sanders would never make it out of the first round regardless of how good it was.I’m not sold on Sanders as a #1 pick ( he would in most cases except this Top tier QB lacking draft Class be a mid 2nd Round guy )
If it were a QB Rich Class ( like last year ) then Sanders would easily slide to late 1st or early Second RoundsThis draft class is definitely not great but Sanders would never make it out of the first round regardless of how good it was.
Nope. Hes mid 1st on his pedigree aloneIf it were a QB Rich Class ( like last year ) then Sanders would easily slide to late 1st or early Second Rounds
So if Raiders could get a low 2nd to fall back to the 7th Pick in First Round should they do it and get a nominal QB in First Round ( Like Sanders) ?This draft class is definitely not great but Sanders would never make it out of the first round regardless of how good it was.
The Raiders are going to draft Sanders likely unfortunately for him.Could you guys give me a Top 4 QB candidates for this years Draft ( I’m a rabid lifelong Raiders fan but do not pay much attention to College FB until prior to the draft )
I’m not sure Sandeds would be there but would trade back and draft a QB next year. The Raiders are far from a QB away.So if Raiders could get a low 2nd to fall back to the 7th Pick in First Round should they do it and get a nominal QB in First Round ( Like Sanders) ?
The Raiders have the third most Cap $$$ ( or 2nd most depending on Cuts ) and several 3rd and 4th Round pics , a decent 2nd and perhaps top two Pick in Draft and serious talent on both sides of the ball , they are not a pariah for a Rookie QB ( unless they keep this years Coaching Staff intact )The Raiders are going to draft Sanders likely unfortunately for him.
Sanders
Ward
Gabriel
Ewers
Beck
The last 2 probably won’t be good in the NFL in my opinion but someone will draft them.
Yes cutting him and paying him 51 million is better than him playing for you for the 51 million…..Which is a lot better than keeping him...
They could get any free agent on the Market and it would just dent their Cap SpaceI’m not sure Sandeds would be there but would trade back and draft a QB next year. The Raiders are far from a QB away.
