Is Russia Now the World's Leading Military Power?

The Russians have an endemic problem when it comes to making war. They produce garbage. No matter what comes out of Russia's factories it is junk. Tanks, jeeps, planes, whatever. It is all maintenance-intensive and inclined to fail often. This is why Putin dares not launch a nuclear weapon; it is likely that it would explode on the launchpad, miss its target, or prove to be a dud, making Putin a global laughingstock.
Another one living in the land of delusion, in it's time the AK 47 was probably the best assault rifle made, not like over engineered Western junk, and in WW2 the T-34 tank annihilated the Nazis, these days they have some of the best missiles anywhere, what world do you live in? sounds like the Truman show.

Move to Russia if you love it so much, you defend their aggression and their offensive actions against neighbors you should move there.

Stalin has been dead for decades and the Soviet Union has gone for decades, free Country my arse, Nazis are embedded in the Ukrainian army, the poison of Bandera is the new religion, all opposition media closed down and opposition parties persecuted, after the peace talks in Turkey the SBU even shot one of their own negotiating team dead on the street, wake up and get with the program Gunny, the World has moved on.

Can you discuss the success of the Ukrainian offensive? it's a nightmare, so far in this war they have had four hundred thousand casualties the battlefield is littered with Nato wreckage, there are three lines of Russian defences the Ukrainians have not broken through the first, i think it will end up like the battles of Kursk which was many times bigger, at some stage there will be a massive counter offensive by the Russians.

And tell us about all the territory lost so far that Russia once occupied.

Tell us about the fact that Russia is trying to buy back tanks they have sold to others, and having to pull them out of museums to put into battle.

Funny you mention the Battle of Kursk. You are having to go all the way back to WW!!, over 7 decades ago to try and find a decent Russian victory. And that is primarily known as a massive tank battle. Where in the hell is Russia going to get all of the tanks from for that Kursk II? Are they going to assault once again with a bunch of T-34s, pulled from museums?

Tell us about how well those Russian offensives have been. Tell us about how the Russians are running out of equipment.

As I said, you will not actually discuss anything factual, you simply randomly spew propaganda.

Which can actually be fine, and it is not like the US has not done the exact same thing.

The Sherman was one of the worst tanks in it's class in WWII, but the US deployed a huge number of them, and evolved tactics to exploit the issues in the tanks of the enemies.

There is nothing wrong with making inexpensive equipment. Just so long as that is known, and the purpose is to exploit the quantity advantage in spite of the quality disadvantage.

During most of the Cold War, the fear NATO had in the face of a potential Warsaw Pact invasion was never the quality of equipment they would bring, much of it was inferior to that of NATO. But that it would come in a 2 to 1 advantage in both equipment and personnel.

Unlike NATO, Russia was always the primary manufacturing nation for all of the Warsaw Pact. That meant they had to concentrate much more on quantity than on quality.

All that is bullshit, some said Russia was almost out of missiles a year ago, don't worry about Russa running out of weapons, the Nazis in Kiev will run out first trust me. and you seem to have a memory block, Russia took Bakhmut and Mariupol, and that's before they have launched a real offensive.

The USA can and has sustained years long wars taking very heavy casualties.

And that has been how the US has operated for over 50 years.

I kinda chuckle at when people were screaming at the "horrible losses" of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In total around 7,000 over 20 years. We have been involved in single battles with more casualties than that in the past.

Case in point, the one month long "Battle of the Bulge" killed over 19,000 Americans. That is almost three times as many Americans killed in a single battle than two decades of war in two different nations.

The fact is, the US has really not had to take "heavy casualties" since the Korean War. They have used their advanced tactics and equipment to dominate any conventional war, and most unconventional wars as well.

The USA can and has sustained years long wars taking very heavy casualties. But American war fighting is very different from Russian war fighting. Russians send bodies instead of bullets. Americans send bullets instead of bodies. Ever since the ACW, we have fought technological wars where other countries wasted their manpower, we have conserved ours. That’s why we can afford the well trained, professional army that we have while Russia sends cannon fodder out to be slaughtered. The Ukrainians have adopted the same idea, but ran out of time to implement it completely. If Putin had waited just two or three years, his initial invasion would have completely failed instead of mostly failing.
Bring the draft back in the US and we shall see how many pro war pigs there are.

All that is bullshit

And once again, all you are able to do is scream everybody else is wrong, and refuse to actually discuss anything factual.

You are aware that most of us see you as nothing but a clown, right? You mindlessly knee-jerk attack anybody that does not agree with you, and it is actually rather comical. Most of us are actually leading you around by your nose, simply tugging in the direction we want you to go off on and it is hilarious.

Difference is the battle of the Bulge was worth fighting.

I don't give a rats arse what you think of me, you just don't like being challeged.

Retard we supported the Soviets in WW2 and Stalin was a monster. Supporting a free country that happens to have a small group of a hate group is no big thing.
Free country my ass. You believing that obvious lie merely proves once again how terribly uninformed you are.

Actually, there you are very much wrong. I not only accept people who challenge me, I actively encourage it! I do not want people to simply accept without thought claims from anybody, and that includes me. I encourage them to do their own research, and arrive at their own conclusions based upon the evidence and not simply swallowing whatever bilge water somebody has spoon fed to them.

Hence, in this "debate" I have been quoting from and referencing actual documentation, including multiple treaties. And quoting actual statistics and facts. Meanwhile, you just post whatever comes into your head. And if challenged, you simply ignore it and pretend it was never said. Once again, the claim you are trying to place on me is actually one about yourself and not about me at all.

Yet another fail on your part. Among all of the others in here.

says the guy that shills for Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in every thread.
Check this out you two imperialist warmongering fools. Caitlin describes you both perfectly…all 30 apply to you two empire simps. Mushroom

Here are 30 signs you might be an empire simp:

1. You get triggered whenever anyone highlights the well-documented western provocations that paved the way to the war in Ukraine.

2. You think Putin invaded Ukraine solely because he is evil and hates freedom and the US is pouring weapons into the nation because it loves Ukrainians and wants to protect their freedom and democracy.

3. You’re more interested in Trump’s mugshot than the western-backed atrocities in Yemen or starvation sanctions in Syria.

4. You can listen to Tony Blinken talk without wanting to throw trash at his head.

5. You understand that the last time there was a credible foreign military threat near the US border the US responded so aggressively that it almost ended the world, yet you demand that Russia and China accept US military threats on their borders.

6. You think the US is filling Australia with war machinery because it loves Australians and wants to protect them from China.

7. You believe the world’s most destructive military force is encircling its #1 geopolitical rival with war machinery as a
defensive measure.

8. You live in the most propagandized population on earth and make jokes about North Korean propaganda.

9. You live in the most propagandized population on earth and spend your time fretting about Russian propaganda.

11. You live under the most murderous and tyrannical power structure on earth and yet spend your time shrieking about tyranny in Asian countries.

12. You want to see Vladimir Putin tried for war crimes before George W Bush.

13. You believe western interventionism has ever had anything to do with spreading freedom and democracy or protecting humanitarian interests.

14. You find protests in places like Iran, Venezuela or Cuba much more interesting than protests in places like France, Haiti or Chile.

15. You unironically call NATO a “defensive alliance”.

16. You rend your garments about China preparing to seize control of Taiwan by military force without ever acknowledging that the US empire is preparing to do the exact same thing.

17. You’ve ever believed for even one second that the US government gives a **** about Muslims in China.

18. You oppose guns except when they’re being used to kill foreigners overseas.

19. You claim you oppose the misdeeds of all governments equally but find yourself spending most of your time yelling at people who criticize US foreign policy online.

20. You’ve ever accused anyone who criticizes US foreign policy of secretly working for Russia or China.

21. You’ve ever accused someone who criticizes Israel of being an anti-semite.

22. You think being anti-war means putting a Ukraine flag in your Twitter bio.

23. You think “the troops” have ever fought for your freedom at any time since you’ve been alive.

24. You think the invasion of Iraq had anything to do with liberating the Iraqi people.

25. You think the destruction of Libya had anything to do with protecting Libyans.

26. You think the west arming Al Qaeda in Syria had anything to do with advancing the interests of Syrians.

27. You think US escalations against Russia and China have anything to do with “national security”.

28. You think the Department of Defense has anything to do with defense.

29. You think it’s okay for the US to keep waging wars, destroying nations, starving civilian populations with economic sanctions, instigating proxy wars, arming neo-Nazis and violent jihadists, staging coups and persecuting journalists, because if it doesn’t do those things the world might be taken over by evil tyrants.

30. You were bothered by any item on this list.
