Tisza won Parliament by enough of a margin to create/revoke laws without needing the assistence of any other political parties to do so.

I think you underestimate the motivated reasoning part and the fact that the internet has so much information that people can believe anything and "find" reams of information that confirms it.

Let me give you an anecdote that encapsulates that. Years ago me and a friend get shitfaced and we end up at his house.

He proudly proclaims that he can debunk global warming, and me equally drunk tell him to go ahead and try.

So he fires up his laptop, goes on google and he types in "global warming hoax." So off course, Google spews out about 20000 results.

I go on Google and type in "average global temperature."

He looks at the results and is actually baffled. Apperantly he had never seen that particular fact. Why... well all his imformation told him that it was a hoax and it took my drunk ass to point to that particular piece of information.

The point is this. My friend isn't stupid, but his ideological aligment told him something he actually did look up, and he just never bothered looking up if that something was actually factual.

He didn’t lack access to information, he lacked a reason to question the frame he started with.

Now increase that ideoligical blind spot about 100 times for the reason I already stated and the belief becomes impregnable.

Well, first I'd say there are different types of intelligence. A person can be intelligent in one area, and completely stupid in another area.

The problem with your argument is that I also lacked the ability to question things. But I kept looking, kept researching, kept talking to people and learned how to learn for myself.

But I changed and I was able to think for myself. A lot of people don't bother, they prefer the package that tells them how to think.

It's convenient, it's comfortable.

You did not say "some black people are Muslims" and most of the countries in Africa are not.

Niger, with the largest fertility rate, is, in fact, Muslim. And Somalia in second is also Muslim

Not really. When black people go to rich countries and are rich in those countries, they tend to not "populate" as you called it.

There are exceptions, perhaps. Nigerian culture is one where having kids is seen as a status symbol. But as I showed you, foreign born people have more kids, but those born into western countries tend not to. Birth rates for black people who were born in rich western countries are LOW.

Sometimes you will have CULTURAL reasons to have more kids, like Nigeria, but for the most part it's about POVERTY.

Niger has 62.11 per 1,000 live births infant mortality. The US has 6.5, the UK 4.5.

And here's a map of infant mortality. Which is probably pretty similar to fertility rates. Because if your kid is 10 times more likely to die before the age of 5, you're more likely to have kids. If needed people to look after you when you're old, you're more likely to have more kids.

This is not "black people like to populate", it's often a NECESSITY.
