Lots of uninformed people parrot the FOX News lies about California. Everyone I know that lives in Texas says it’s a terrible place to live and complains about the lack of stable services - and these are lifelong residents, not people who moved from blue states.

American states are now poaching jobs from other American states in a race to the bottom. Instead of trying to get NEW investment in their states, they offer “tax incentives” to existing American companies to relocate.

This screws over the state losing their jobs, and the residents of the state they’re relocated to, who have to make up the budget shortfalls out their residents pockets.

I have multiple friends living in both states. My best friend works in California but telecommutes from Mississauga. She used to spend a few months there every year, living with friends in Los Angeles, but Trump got elected and she stopped going to the US, except when she has to for work.

I also have a lot of family living in the USA. My family has been in North America for nearly 300 years. There’s a lot of us on both sides of the border.

then you only know what you hear from them...try living there for 50 years...big difference...
