Is "Government" an Obsolete Concept?

In the USA for example, is there something that government does that is actually beneficial to citizens and society at large?

The existence and effectiveness of a government depends critically on the willingness of enough of the governed to act in good faith and generally follow the rules of those it chooses to create and enforce those rules. When the percentage of that population drops to a certain level, that society begins to unravel.

The media, big tech, are all very effective in spreading fake news and suppressing the truth.

I say it is all about money. Everyone who can't make it in on their own knows they can get rich through government spending.

Wall st., banks, corporations, the federal reserve, all getting filthy rich off government spending.

The government creates a mess, through fake news, rioting, the way they spend money, through interference in our lives, they create poverty in the USA, then tell us they are here to save us.

Government almost always acts in bad faith and regularly imposes it’s will by the use of force. It’s rules are often arbitrary and unevenly applied, as the rich and famous receive a different level of justice. We are seeing this in real time, which is NOT as you describe.

A government of by and for the rich shouldn’t be allowed to govern. It should perish.

With the state of education being what it is today, I think the younger generation may never be smart enough for self government. More likely we'll end up with a shitload of tribes all vying for power, much like Afghanistan was.

The government is there to remind you on how bad you are

It tells you that you produce too much carbon, you spend too much money, you have too many racist views, you are too sexist, etc.

Why without government, we would all be dying in the streets.

Just know that our health care is too expensive, so they need to gut it with socialized health care.

The only thing that keeps us united today is that the Federal Government is so large that there are social payments and money sent out to states for any other reason. The differences in thought about freedoms and security are way different in locations in our nation today. Progs are pure city/urban thinking. Prog women need to be taken to the woodshed and beaten up for discretions like many men do. Education is more then going to a propagandist school. You can write a book on the Prog ways that does not have many pages.

The word "government" comes from governed men. Under the Articles of Confederation, the American Man had authority to regulate the public servants who had consented to such regulation in order to get an official job.
The Constitution was passed to eliminate such regulation of public servants.
