Contraceptives are used to prevent pregnancy (and they sometimes fail). Abortion is used to terminate a pregnancy.

Exactly, so the abortion is used when the contraception fails as a method of contraception.

Well #3 is wrong, impractical. Using that logic a married couple who wants a very small family or no kids at all would have to remain celibate totally. Not tenable in todays world. Goes against morals.

Stop projecting.. it's what ought to be encouraged in society that's the issue. You keep taking it personally. People are free to not have kids, but capable young people who are fit and based should be encouraged to have them, and society should praise them for it.
