The race hasn't even begun, Winger. Let's see how Barry does defending his record on the economy and what his plans are for the future. "Vague" isn't going to work this time around...he's going to have to actually be held accountable for what he's DONE...not what he promises he'll do.
There isn't anything vague about what Barack Obama wants to do.
He campaigned on wanting to get everyone insured, and he even passed the Republicans own individual mandate in order to get that done. First President in American history to say they did it.
He campaigned on putting the focus back on Afghanistan, killing Bin Laden, and ending Iraq.
On top of that, he said that he would make sure the costs of future foreign entanglements would be shared and that we wouldn't go it alone. After about 6 months and only $1 billion spent, Gaddafi was killed, which is good, because he was an enemy that killed Americans who Bush coddled.
The President campaigned on upping domestic oil production while taking in less from overseas. For three years in a row now we are looking at more domestic production and less imports, just like he said.
He said we should have a renewed focus on increasing alternative methods of energy productions, that's up by 7% and would be up even more if this perverted version of the GOP in Washington believed in America and in wanting to get people back to work.
The President plans to make modest cuts in defense, to raise taxes modestly on millionaires and billionaires, and to continue to tighten the size of the federal gov't (he has overseen half a million jobs having to do with the gov't gone).
His plan is to invest in America while making some much needed spending cuts that are modest and that won't kill us the way austerity measures have taken a toll in Europe, sending them into a double-dip recession.
Mitt Romney's plan is austerity for the working class and the poor, and give away the whole house once more to the rich and then sit in a corner and pray that they trickle it down on us. Enough with that crap.
Get informed. This President has been quite clear on what he wants to do, while his opponent changes his mind on everything depending on who's asking the question.
