Not surprisingly, Obama nailed it.

Pointing out he's a fool isn't taking sides with Iran. Iran is a theocratic autocracy that has brutally crushed dissent and been a bad actor in the ME for decades. It would have been a good thing if regime changer had happened.

The thing is, Dotard was naive to think it would given the level of entrenchment the theocracy has in Iranian society. He under estimated the country due to pride and ignorance. Now the world is paying the financial price.
Because of this countries problem of not knowing how to finish a war by defeating the enemy completely since WW2, and doing so while the time is right, is definitely coming back to haunt in a big way.

Not sure who or what is influencing his decision making, otherwise if anyone at all (might be him alone), but it is definitely a roller coaster ride for many who are counting on that regime being defeated, and the war crimes be brought to a military tribunal in regards to the thousands that have been slaughtered at the hands of the brutal dictatorship that exist in Iran.

Iran just seized two cargo ships and had gunboats fire on another ship a few days ago with their obliterated navy. The US had to go back and re-obliterate Iran's nuclear facilities after obliterating them last summer.

I get the feeling trump has been lying to us.
To long of a "seize fire" could be an extreme danger to our war ships in the area, otherwise if it's giving time to Iran to restrategize (with the possible help of other's), to figure out ways to hit ship's with missiles or smart technology.... To me it's just too dangerous of a situation if the clock begins to tick for too long without an answer or end to it all (IMHO).

Gaslighting doesn't help you..

Wonder when the arrest for treason will start ? I mean how much more evidence does the crazies need to understand that we've had traitors in our midst, and they were attempting to fundamentally transform this nation into something totally unrecognizable, and they were totally destroying it in spirit and in soul.

Right now, and too this very day, they have single handedly destroyed the civil rights movements original intent, and they have reignited a war between the races on purpose for self serving political reasons.

And how we as an American citizenry aren't together on recognizing the enemies within the gates is simply an amazing thing.
When will the arrests start? Looks like never. Either the Trump admin isn't serious about it, or more like, the Dems blocking his every move in the courts and getting away with it. Letitia James and Comey are prime examples of how hard the Dems can shop for a corrupt judge to toss things on the weirdest technicalities ever. Well, actually in concert with the Senate who refuses to confirm Trump's U.S. attorneys and judges.

No he didn't but thanks for proving just how gullible YOU are.
We'll see what happens when they recover that uranium and see where it came from.
That can be traced. All of it will most likely pop off tonight.

Iran reportedly proposes Hormuz Strait deal to U.S. Here’s where things stand — and what’s next for markets

Global markets are entering the week balancing a resilient risk appetite against renewed geopolitical strain as prospects of U.S.-Iran negotiations took a hit over the weekend.

U.S. President Donald Trump scrapped plans to send envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Islamabad for talks with Iran on Saturday, citing “tremendous infighting and confusion” within Tehran’s leadership.

Though uncertainty looms large, Iran has offered a new proposal to the U.S. for reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ending the war while suggesting that nuclear talks be deferred, Axios reported Monday, citing a U.S. official and two sources with knowledge of the matter.

A bit ironic for Dotard to cite confusion due to mixed messages coming from Iran after he has issue more conflicting statements about the war than Carter has pills.

Oil Prices Jump Again as U.S.-Iran Talks Appear Deadlocked

Oil prices continued to climb on Tuesday, as peace talks between the United States and Iran appeared at an impasse, with negotiators deadlocked over proposals to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to tanker traffic and restrict Iran’s nuclear program.

The price of crude oil has risen steadily over the past week, as talks have stalled during an uneasy cease-fire. Brent crude, the international benchmark, has posted gains in six of the past seven trading sessions: It remains more than 40 percent higher than it was before the first U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran in late February.

Stock markets are trading near record highs, however, as corporate earnings have been largely resilient. A batch of financial reports due this week from the largest technology companies, which are spending hundreds of billions of dollars on artificial intelligence systems, will be closely watched.

Things never go well when Dotard is in charge.

Operation Epic Fury, Meet Operation Colossal Blunder

America’s war with Iran has entered a calmer phase: diplomatic posturing, on-and-off-again negotiations and endless wrangling of a settlement. This, of course, is far preferable to the annihilation of Iranian civilization that President Trump was threatening just a few weeks ago. But it raises the question of just what has spurred this turnabout.

The answer is rather straightforward. The American and Israeli bombing of Iran failed to provoke either a popular uprising against the regime in Tehran or its capitulation, however painfully slow Mr. Trump and his advisers have been to acknowledge that. Instead, Iran discovered its ability to shut down the vital passageway of the Strait of Hormuz and send the global economy into chaos.

There are now only two outcomes to the conflict: either the kind of wholesale destruction of Iran that Mr. Trump posited, or a settlement that will leave the government intact and empowered, and a blustering American president humiliated.

The first option is increasingly remote. By publicly threatening the commission of war crimes on an enormous scale, Mr. Trump has given both his domestic and foreign opponents time to marshal resistance. As for the latter and more likely outcome, this was predictable, if only the president and his administration had bothered to take note of a new feature of modern warfare, a feature that can be boiled down to a single word: drones.

A major blunder was inevitable with the clowns riding in the trump car headed for a cliff.

Democrats sent billions of American tax dollars to 'Death to America' Iranian terrorists believing their nuclear weapons programs posed no threat to innocent people worldwide.

Sorry, that's a lie.

What happened in 2016?

In January 2016, the Obama administration transferred $1.7 billion to Iran. The breakdown:

$400 million as the principal amount
  • $1.3 billion in accumulated interest
The funds were delivered in foreign currencies, including euros and Swiss francs, and physically flown into Iran.

Why was the money paid?

The payment resolved a long-running legal dispute stemming from the 1970s.

Your article says it was frozen Iranian money.

Not taxpayer dollars.
