When the Soviet Union and its influence left much of the Middle East a vacuum occurred. Globalists like Bush Senior went right to war. We back up people because of two choices. Then we may or not may lament them in the future. Progs seem to never do that.

If a good percentage of the population wants a great life, let's arm them. This reminds me of coward citizens in the Cowboy movies I watch. Always want the sheriff to take on all the bad guys. Why don't they all go home and get their guns?

Here in America Republicans claim the best solution is for everyone to carry a gun. Well, let's test that out in Afganistan. Give the good people weapons so they can take on the taliban when they come in guns a blazing. Have a sign before they get into town that this is a gun free town.
