If you break down the votes by location vs. party affiliation, nearly 100 percent of Democrats from the northern states supported the legislation while only 85 percent of northern Republicans supported it. None of the southern Republicans (all conservatives) voted for it, while a small percentage of liberal southern Democrats did.

That means nothing at all to this discussion. You can try to make a cat a dog using such faulty remarks. Such as here in Idaho. We have what seems to be virtually no blacks. While we in truth have a few, they must be very well behaved or they would be in prison. IF you have no problems, you vote for what is correct. All Democrats in the South were against civil rights.

This incident took place only about twenty miles from where i live, some among the US army imported their vile racism into my Country in WW2, i am proud to say the locals of Bamber Bridge sent the racists packing and supported the Negro soldiers.

This was a result of the USA having democrats as leaders who made up the rules. As the video shows, those were not combat troops, but quartermaster troops. Franklin D Roosevelt our white president, decided those were jobs for Blacks.

Not everything comes down to either or both of them. But in the case of Blacks, it happens that the Democrats were powerful determinators for blacks and in fact right now they pretend to favor blacks. Frankly the Republicans are totally agreeable to blacks being just regular citizens. But for some odd reason, Democrats keep this as a problem they claim for decades now. Seems Democrat have not solved it at all were we to believe them.
