People have had it with deep state. Most of the nation still loves America. The next few years are going to be very interesting. It’s 1859 again and Democrats are about to once again get a stomping.

Delaware (Biden's home state) was a slave state until well after the Civil War ended in defeat of the Confederacy. How do white people in Delaware explain that?

He is referring to everything north of Richmond: DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine don’t tax us Virginians nor fly to Pedo island.

Unfortunately, the Emancipation Proclamation only applied to the Confederate states.

By 1860 in 1860 the number of slaves in Delaware had been reduced to about 1,800, while the number of the state’s free blacks had increased to around 20,000. It was a small number of Delaware citizens who were slave owners, but they had an outsized political influence. Two months before Lee's surrender, the Governor of Delaware sent the 13th Amendment to the General Assembly on recommending that it be approved. On February 8, 1865, both the House and the Senate rejected the Governor’s recommendation, refusing “to adopt and ratify” the Amendment, saying it was “contrary to the principles upon which the government was framed.”

The slaves remaining in Delaware after the Civil War were in bondage until December 6, 1865, when the 13th Amendment was declared ratified, without Delaware. So your post is true to an extent, but one month was the length of time that slaves in Delaware remained in slaves. The articles of surrender were agreed to on April 9, 1865, but the Civil War wasn't concluded until the surrender of the Shenandoah on November 6, 1865. One month later the 13th Amendment was passed. One month does not qualify as "well after" by anyone's definition.

On January 31 and February 6, 1901, the General Assembly of Delaware symbolically passed a joint resolution ratifying the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments.

At least Delawarians got to keep their slaves up until the last possible moment. Good for them. Where I live in Georgia Gen. Sherman marched through here and pretty much burned everything to the ground.
