It matters when you consider where to direct him...which aspect of belonging to a church is important to him. If he's into retrospection and seeking God with no interest in anything else, he might want to attend a more sober introspective church.

You know bible fellowships are often good places, too. They often have little neighborhood ones that are a really good way to meet people in the neighborhood....

If you like good fried chicken, I'd go with the Southern Baptist folks. If somebody dies, or there is a pot luck supper down at the church, you can be sure to get some good fried chicken at one of these events.

But the back stabbing is pretty intense. Maybe not a good one.
