The ramifications for politics in America will be huge, huge....yes I say huge.

In a nutshell it will assure a democratic victory in the coming Presidential election.

The republicans made a huge mistake in not supporting Ukraine...to the utmost of their ability.

On the other hand the democrats have been champions of Ukraine.

Though I like Trump and have always supported him...he made a tragic error in not supporting Ukraine in a very strong manner....he merely gave timid verbal support....he should have went all in to support Ukraine.

Bottom line...democrats will be seen as the champions of Ukraine and thus by supporting Ukraine they will reap the benefits of bringing down Putin.

Putin is a lightweight, compared to the Wagner group. Think about what would happen if they managed to successfully overthrow him. The Wagners are an ultra-right militaristic organization, many of whom are convicts. And having the military in complete control of Russia, is probably not a very good idea.

Putin is a dead man walking....if he does not go into exile quickly.....someone will kill him....even in exile he will be in great danger.

First, a coup attempt against the current Russian regime will never succeed. Even if it did, it would not make a huge impact here.

What more support for Ukraine should the US commit to? Troops on the ground?

We’ve already funneled untold and unaccounted for billions of dollars we don’t have to Ukraine. Enough is enough.

Why do people on the left and right want us to keep supporting Ukraine with tens of billions of dollars every few weeks? What are we getting out of it?

What’s the vital US interest in this war? Why is it our business?

What’s the cost of freedom? We don’t need to send troops, however. Ukraine is kicking ass. :2up:

First this is none of our business. We can’t be responsible for the rest of the world. This neo-con shit about spreading democracy around the world needs to stop.

There is no vital US interest in this war.

Second, Ukraine isn’t kicking ass. They are just barely getting by. Where did you get the idea they are kicking ass?

You have to stop listening to Russian propaganda.

Quite amazing to see so many Americans who have absolutely no idea what started this conflict and how badly Kyiv has fared and continues to suffer devastating losses. The OP is a magnificent example of this and he and one or two others lap up deliberate MSM misinformation , probably with no inkling of the deceptions involved .

Trump sides with Russia on the Ukraine war, why would he support Ukraine? How does supporting Ukraine help his relationship with Putin?

We know who’s deceiving us and it’s of the Ukrainians, Natasha.

The United States must maintain its course on Ukraine because it is essential to America’s national security interests and democratic values

Ukraine serves America’s national security interests and democratic values. A defeat in Ukraine would be a massive setback for democracy and usher
in a more dangerous and unstable world. It could encourage Russian aggression against other neighboring democracies, threaten European allies, and perhaps further embolden China to take action against Taiwan.

Once again we see stupidity on display in this thread ....aka the moving of this thread to the European forum is ridiculous.....the war in Ukraine is not just some European problem or situation....it is of vital importance to America and thus it makes no sense to move this thread to a lesser viewed forum.

Now the mods will scream and holler they are being criticized.....so be it....they should try and understand that when they make a mistake they will be held responsible.
