Laws are immutable principles.
those two make an - oxymoron.
used similarly to deceive than to express true meanings.

I don't think that Jews follow ChristI just thought that it would make more sense if we were Jewish since we follow Jesus and that would mean that we would follow His religion but now I see that that was just His bloodline.
It’s not a burden. It’s what Gd wants of us, and it’s a wonderful way to maintain our sense of community. The burden of the Law.
I understand it just fine.our church is american ...
says the guy whose religion is an unintelligible book written three centuries past an event without a single verified recording.
Not as far as I’m aware. He was a traditional Jew who taught Jewish values.I don't think that Jews follow Christ
Don't they consider him to be a heretic?
Ooooo…..great question!Let's go into specifics. Name one Law you find burdensome, and can you also describe the burdens?
That thinking may be your problem.those two make an - oxymoron.

I would have a hard time with this one.Let's go into specifics. Name one Law you find burdensome, and can you also describe the burdens?
That’s not so hard. You just buy meat from the kosher butcher.I would have a hard time with this one.
188. Not to eat the meat of an animal that died without ritual slaughter—Deuteronomy 14:21
I like hunting. That’s not so hard. You just buy meat from the kosher butcher.
And eating out, you stick with fish or vegetarian. Or, you if you want steak, you go to a kosher restaurant. This one is just a few blocks from where I worked, and it was really good.

That’s because you’ve been doing it. But to Jews, it’s no big deal since so few hunt. So, not a burden at all.You are basically saying that I should give up hunting. Ain't gonna happen.
That's not what they sayNot as far as I’m aware. He was a traditional Jew who taught Jewish values.
as far as I know All Jews agree that Jesus was not the messiah, a prophet, or God incarnateNot as far as I’m aware. He was a traditional Jew who taught Jewish values.
I was basically answering Meriweather's question, which was actually "Which Jewish commandments would be burdensome to a Christian".That’s because you’ve been doing it. But to Jews, it’s no big deal since so few hunt. So, not a burden at all.
Those quotes are all inaccurate or misrepresentations. The Talmud never mentions Jesus. If you would like, I can refer you to a site which explains that thoroughly. That's not what they say
Jesus was a bastard born of adultery” (Yebamoth 49b).
“Jesus was a magician and a fool. Mary was an adulteress” (Shabbath 104b).
“Jesus was guilty of sorcery and apostasy” (Sanhedrin 43a).
“Mary was a whore: Jesus (Balaam) was an evil man” (Sanhedrin 106a & b).
Jesus was sent to Hell, where he is punished by boiling excrement for mocking Rabbis” (Gittin 56b, 57a).
as far as I know All Jews agree that Jesus was not the messiah, a prophet, or God incarnate
But what do I know
I never heard ANY of that. As I said, I’ve been going to Torah and Jewish history classes on and off for 50 years, and Jesus has never even been mentioned. That's not what they say

Well, that’s different.I was basically answering Meriweather's question, which was actually "Which Jewish commandments would be burdensome to a Christian".
Could you have captured the animal and then made it a Kosher killing without the animal having to suffer?Killed this one, and many others, myself, no "ritual slaughter".
That would have been the kind thing to do, or, if unable to do it, refrain from the “pleasure” of causing an animal to suffer and die in pain in the first place.Could you have captured the animal and then made it a Kosher killing without the animal having to suffer?
This particular Kosher law reveals God is compassionate and teaches His people to be compassionate. In this particular case, it is not the Law one finds burdensome, it's complaining compassion is burdensome. That I can agree with...sometimes compassion can be a burden. That burden is worth carrying and then some. That would have been the kind thing to do, or, if unable to do it, refrain from the “pleasure” of causing an animal to suffer and die in pain in the first place.
Then again, I follow kashrut.
