No - what you mean is why ask for scripture if I don't agree with your interpretation.Or as Jesus noted, by birth. Why ask for the scripture if you are just going to ignore it?
You used that verse to validate homosexuality.
But the verse has absolutely nothing to do with validating homosexuality.
The entire premise of what Jesus and the listeners were talking about was divorce.
They were saying that it must be better to never marry to avoid the risks of going to hell for infidelity or divorcing, if there is no recourse for a bad marriage.
Jesus, and I think personally that there must be something missing, because it doesn't naturally follow their point - he answered to them that it doesn't apply to everyone, because not everyone can marry, like a eunuch whether forced to be that way, or is born a eunuch. (physically unable to perform sex, or lacks desire for women) that to them - the argument doesn't apply about divorce.
If anything, this could be interpreted that Jesus recognizes that some people have sexual attractions that prevent marriage - which, yeah, would be homosexuals. But he is talking about divorce.
It is another leap to then to add more into that by saying - "well then Jesus is saying that gay people can go to heaven while engaging in homosexuality" - that is a heckuva leap there.
