Zone1 If God were real, you wouldn’t need a book

If you had been born 250 years ago, you would have been walking around with your fairy tale book trying to preserve slavery and deny women property and voting rights. Just for starters.
And yet 250 years ago there were people who did just the opposite.

That doesn't look like free will to me.
Actually it does. You are 100% free to confirm your bias using logical fallacy strawmen. God allows you to make mistakes.

just as they use jesus for their salacious purposes they deny their sins and crimes without remorse or accountability whatsoever ...
Reality: Jesus has never justified or promised to forgive or authorize any "Salacious" purposes due to HIS NAME. There is not one passage in the entire N.T. (the perfect law of liberty)that condones any such premeditated activity.

IN FACT Jesus clearly asks the question, "Why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" -- Luke 6:46.

What happens when any man pretends to be working under the banner of being a Christian and does not follow the Words found in scripture (The Word of God......faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God -- Romans 10:17)?

"But he that heareth, and does not My Word, this is like a man without foundation, built upon the earth; against the stream did beat vehemently (acting emotionally in a violent method); and immediately it fell; and the ruin of his house was great."-- Luke 6:49

Jesus promises to allow nature to take its course with all such men or groups of men.....or attempt to use the name of the Lord in Vain. Jesus does not protect those who abuse or take advantage of the vulnerable within society. (Matt. 18:6-9, Mark 9:42-50, Luke 17:1-5)

the 4th century christian bible - uses jesus - for their purposes, false commandments et al than what were the 1st century events those people gave their lives for, liberation theology, self determination.

no kidding ...

and the christians persecuted them using their madeup commandments they have used throughout history for the same purpose against the innocent attempting their own self determination as taught by jesus.

So if your god is "real" and I don't follow his rules what will happen to me?

You don't know that. What's your point?

So if your god is "real" and I don't follow his rules what will happen to me?
Is eternal life something you care about now? If not, what makes you think you would care about it after passing on?

He doesn't care about what he is missing out on now. They can't make that connection.

You guys won't answer the question because the answer according to your theology is that I go to hell for eternal punishment which would prove my meme correct.

So keep weaseling if that's what it take to support your faith, I don't care.

Lookit you, dodging the question, lol.
Jesus taught that rules don't matter. So, no. Not dodging. It's not about rule following. It's about loving God. So whatever it is that you think it is, it's wrong. Be more worried about being able to accept God's love at your death.

God speaks for himself. God decides for himself. We don't and shouldn't speak for him. We don't have that authority. If you want to argue over rules go find a Jew or a Muslim or a Protestant. It's not about rule following. It's about loving God.

I don't worship a book. I worship God.

You have zero basis for any of your beliefs.
says the guy who worships a book of forgeries lies and fallacies ...

there is nothing duplicitous about the heavenly goal and religion of antiquity only six words in length - too bad you chose the crucifiers 10000 pg christian bible.
