Tulsi Gabbard is resigning from her job as President Donald Trump's ‌director of national intelligence, Fox News Digital reported on Friday, citing her resignation letter.

Gabbard advised Trump of her intention to ⁠step down during a Oval Office meeting on Friday, the news outlet reported. The resignation is effective June 30, it said.

In her resignation letter, Gabbard told Trump she was "deeply grateful for the trust ‌you ⁠placed in me and for the opportunity to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence ⁠for the last year and a half," Fox News Digital reported.

She cited her ⁠husband's recent diagnosis with a rare form of bone cancer, ⁠it said.

The Dems are high fiving and the West will be in trouble if the Marxists take over.

She said it is due to her husband having bone cancer so we can only take her at her word in an effort to do damage control to the GOP (she is FAR more popular than say Graham), but, they have been targeting her since the day she was appointed.

P.S It sounds as if this cancer is very aggressive and some are suggesting he may not even have much time let. The fact she said she is staying until the end of June may suggest that this is all legitimate and is not planned. If it were due to a disagreement it would have been immediate.
