Pretty much - as in most but not all things - run on autopilot following a built in self compensating feature within the laws of nature. It's cyclical. Failed behaviors naturally lead to failure and successful behaviors naturally lead to success. It is probabilistic in nature but when you normalize your deviance from the standards you can expect predictable surprises to naturally occur and provide the feedback you need to correct your behaviors. It is entirely up to you whether you learn from your mistakes or keep repeating the same failed behaviors.
