Zone1 If DEI is the SOLE Reason for Every U.S. Disaster Since 1964 Then Logical Reasoning REQUIRES Not a Single Disastrous Incident Occurred PRIOR to 1964.

Considering the amount of training involved in being a pilot or an air traffic controller I'd say it happens more often than not.
You'd be hearing about it on the nightly news if it was as frequent as you imply.

Ground incursions are up, that's for sure.

He was chosen because he was a mayor. Contrast that to JD Vance. What has he run?

Butt plug was chosen for his gayness. Vance was a senator of a populous state.
Hegseth?

As for your fight, you could have had the same experience in Chicago, depending upon the company YOU chose to use.
I had no CHOICE in tiny South Bend. That was my point. You said butt plug was the mayor of a fairly large city, and I was showing you that it was so small that the little airport consisted of a guy and his plane - and he loaded luggage, sold the plane tickets, and was the pilot.

Some can. Some men can't.

That's not why I asked. All white veterans here in this forum who are employed are DEI hires.
White veterans are DEI hires? What are you babbling about, IM2? You make less sense with each post.

If I wanted to test this premise using computer code then I believe I could start here:

The Myth of DEI as the Cause of Modern Disasters: A Logical and Historical Examination

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 is the federal civil rights law that serves as the foundation for affirmative action and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. These policies were designed to address historical discrimination and create equitable opportunities in education and the workforce. However, in recent years, a segment of society—particularly white racists and reactionary critics—has attempted to blame DEI initiatives for every societal failure, workplace inefficiency, and disaster in the United States.

From airplane crashes and building or bridge collapses to the recent Boeing door plug blowout, DEI is being scapegoated as the sole cause of these failures. The assertion is that DEI admissions in colleges and DEI-driven hiring practices have led to a workforce that is unqualified, thus causing catastrophic failures across multiple industries.

The False Premise of the Argument

For this claim to be valid, it would mean that prior to DEI initiatives—when the workforce was overwhelmingly white and male—such disasters never occurred. That would mean that prior to affirmative action, Title VII protections, and DEI policies, aviation, engineering, and infrastructure were flawless.

Yet, we know this is false.

History is filled with disasters that predate DEI, demonstrating that human error, flawed engineering, corporate negligence, and systemic failures have always been present—long before the advent of diversity initiatives.

Major Disasters That Occurred Before DEI Initiatives

Here is a list of well-documented disasters spanning aviation, infrastructure, engineering failures, and economic crises—long before DEI policies existed.

Aviation Disasters

Hindenburg Disaster (1937) – The German airship exploded upon docking in New Jersey, killing 36 people. This was due to the flammability of hydrogen gas, not DEI.

Tenerife Airport Disaster (1977) – The deadliest aviation accident in history (583 deaths) occurred when two Boeing 747s piloted by white men collided due to miscommunication.

United Airlines Flight 624 (1948) – A DC-6 crashed in Pennsylvania due to mechanical failure and pilot error, killing all 43 on board.

Maritime Disasters

Titanic Sinking (1912) – Over 1,500 people died after the "unsinkable" ship struck an iceberg due to poor ship design, lack of lifeboats, and hubris.

Lusitania Sinking (1915) – A German U-boat sank the British ocean liner, killing 1,198 people, pushing the U.S. closer to World War I.

Sultana Steamboat Disaster (1865) – The worst maritime disaster in U.S. history (1,200+ deaths) was caused by a boiler explosion on a Mississippi River steamboat.

Bridge & Infrastructure Failures

Tacoma Narrows Bridge Collapse (1940) – "Galloping Gertie" collapsed due to poor aerodynamic design, decades before DEI.

Silver Bridge Collapse (1967) – A fracture in a single eyebar caused the entire bridge to fail, killing 46 people.

St. Francis Dam Collapse (1928) – A catastrophic engineering failure in California killed over 400 people.

Engineering & Industrial Disasters

Halifax Explosion (1917) – A cargo ship carrying explosives collided with another ship, resulting in the largest human-made explosion before nuclear weapons, killing 1,782 people.

Boston Molasses Disaster (1919) – A giant tank burst, flooding the city with a 25-ft-high wave of molasses, killing 21 people.

Texas City Disaster (1947) – A ship carrying ammonium nitrate exploded in Texas, killing nearly 600 people in one of the deadliest industrial accidents in U.S. history.

Nuclear & Environmental Disasters

Chernobyl Disaster (1986) – A Soviet-era nuclear reactor explosion caused a massive radiation leak due to poor safety protocols and rushed testing.

Great Smog of London (1952) – Heavy air pollution caused respiratory issues, leading to over 4,000 deaths.

Economic & Financial Disasters

Stock Market Crash of 1929 & The Great Depression (1930s) – Led to widespread poverty and suffering due to deregulation, reckless speculation, and banking failures.

Panic of 1873 – An economic collapse triggered by railroad speculation and financial mismanagement.

Logical Conclusion: Correlation ≠ Causation

The claim that DEI is responsible for all modern disasters falls apart under scrutiny:

Disasters have always occurred, even before civil rights laws, affirmative action, or DEI policies existed.

The presence of DEI hires in an organization does not prove that DEI caused a specific failure.

There is no evidence that DEI policies result in lower competence, nor that they have made fields like engineering, aviation, or medicine less safe.

Every single disaster prior to DEI was caused by an entirely white workforce, meaning that if DEI is responsible for today’s failures, then white men must be held responsible for every failure before DEI.

Blaming DEI while ignoring the long history of engineering, aviation, and industrial disasters is a clear example of cherry-picking data to fit a predetermined racist narrative.

Final Thought

When someone insists that DEI is the reason for modern disasters, they must also explain why catastrophic failures occurred when the workforce was 100% white—and they cannot.

The existence of major disasters long before DEI proves that human error, incompetence, and systemic failures have always been present, regardless of who was in charge.

Rather than blaming DEI, the focus should be on actual causes of disasters—corporate negligence, deregulation, inadequate safety measures, and underfunded public infrastructure. Scapegoating DEI is not only factually incorrect but also a dangerous distraction from solving real-world problems.
Bluebloods, Brownnoses, and Blacks

Hereditary preordained positioning was the cause of the disasters before 1964 and many that came afterwards. This is a clue that DEI was invented by those same people, starting with the Kennedys.

Buttigieg was chosen because he had been the mayor of a fairly large city.
South Bend is the 316th largest city in the US, a lot of people wouldn't say that is very large.

But the facts is that like Dr. "Rachel" Levine, he was picked for the job because of his preference for man on man sodomy.

Not because he was a mayor.

Besides, he was mayor yet still spent most of the time away from the city campaigning during the latter part of his reign.

Some can. Some men can't.

That's not why I asked. All white veterans here in this forum who are employed are DEI hires.
Veterans are included in DEI.

It's larger than anything Pete Hegseth has run.

Tell me, why is it that you are so supportive of the Democrats?
Because Republicans are white supremacists. And don't try that party of slavery and Jim Crow mess boy, because slavery started 200 years before there was a democratic party and Jim Crow took cooperation from whites in both parties. It was a REPUBLICAN that ended reconstruction. It was a DEMOCRAT that signed our second emancipation proclamation. The only black President was a Democrat. The only Black VP was a Democrat. The only black presidential nominees have been Democrats. It's time you racists began to understand that backs aren't stupid, you are. Because racism is ignorance

I’ve never heard anyone say that DEI is the SOLE reason for EVERY US disaster since 1964y

I’m going to assume You’re just a DEI Activist who cannot cope and has to hyperbolically straw man.

That’s generally true, but not the same as
Your initial claim.. like at all.

You’re so triggered you’re connecting dot A to dot Z.
Really, you've never seen anyone say that? What else does it mean when EVERYTHING is due to DEI according to those who are denigrating it, if the people doing so fail to quantify their statements:

No he's not. You're just a racist. Why are you assuming that people of color aren't qualified but only whites can be?
Not just that, but why are disabled veterans accepted without question and are seen and understood to be able to do the job even though they actually are disabled in some way. Whereas an able-bodied and mind Black person is automatically considered not qualified or eligible for either the job or the degree program that they are accepted into.

Failure is almost always a cascade of events that lead to something going wrong.

The issue isn't DEI being the sole responsibility, the issue is the overdone focus on it, with the corresponding lack of focus on the core missions of all these agencies and organizations, and the core functions of a given profession or trade.

What we are seeing is the scaling back of the inherent resiliency of many systems that prevent small mistakes from becoming large failures.

Or to put it another way, we have too many ideas people, and not enough execution people.
And what percentage of "idea" people are the right race for you and what percentage of the "execution" people?

And believe me, that's NOT the problem. This is just another manifestation of burning down the Black Wall Street in the Tulsa race riots a little over a century ago. EVERY SINGLE TIME Black people start making too much progress or getting too close to catching up, white racist society burns everything down again and wipes out all of the progress made.

That is all this is, it has nothing to do with merit, because the merit has been there on our side and only mattered to white racist when they realized that they were no longer the end all and be all of everything. I mean when have they were NOT CHEATED to get what they wanted?

I made no such assumption. I've worked with hundreds of people of color over the years that were fantastic at their jobs. That had little to do with their skin color however! They were fantastic because they were capable. I've worked with hundreds of whites that were not particularly accomplished and had zero issue with their being replaced. I believe in merit promotions...DEI promotions go against everything I've seen to be successful over a long career.
And you have just demonstrated that you STILL do not know or understand what DEI initiatives are and what they do but more IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT DO.

What in your opinion, is a DEI promotion?
