Will he know us by our fruits?Since He Himself said it, if you accept Him, you accept that He did. If you reject Him, you also reject His fulfillment of the Law and still try (and fail) to keep it yourself.

That’s a matter of discussion - whether you set your mind to something and good actions follow, or you do the actions (follow the Law) and the feelings follow.I am describing walking in obedience, which goes far beyond deeds and to the mind. Jesus elevated adultery from the physical act to the thoughts. He elevated murder from the physical act to the thoughts. When I walk in obedience, I set my mind on God and my actions follow. When my mind and attitudes are focused on me instead of on Him, my actions then become selfish, not Godly. So you see, you don't need a church to set up a bunch of good deeds for you to do in order to be right with God, you need to set your mind on Him and the rest will follow naturally.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the only way to God is if you approve. What is the name of His son?
G-d has no son, other than the fact that all of us are G-d’s children. What is the name of His son?
Ding, ding, ding!I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the only way to God is if you approve.![]()
Not to all Christians, no. Just the highly evangelized ones. That’s a matter of discussion - whether you set your mind to something and good actions follow, or you do the actions (follow the Law) and the feelings follow.
And that is a key difference between Christianity and Judaism. The latter emphasizes actions and behavior over belief, and the former the opposite.
You certainly attempted to denigrate ME for not following the beliefs of your faith.Yes, and rules can change while the standards don't. Again, words mean things and you attempting to denigrate me shows you in a very bad light.
Agree. That is the subgroup to which I am referring. Not to all Christians, no. Just the highly evangelized ones.
It actually shows he has no faith in God. That he believes that God can't draw you near without his help. It's pretty dumb and if it were done to him he'd be arguing the opposite.Agree. That is the subgroup to which I am referring.
I speak from experience when I tell you how uncomfortable it is to have an evangelical Christian hound a Jew in an effort to get her to abandon her own religion and adopt the one that he insists is correct - complete with all the dire warnings about hell.
They are so self-absorbed in their “my way or the highway” thinking that they can’t see how obnoxious they’re being. One of them even sent me a sermon from his missionary church, and it was all full of how stubborn Jews are and how Gd is angry at them for rejecting Jesus, blah, blah, blah…..and it didn’t even occur to him how offensive tjahat would be to a Jew.It actually shows he has no faith in God. No, He knows us by our hearts. Will he know us by our fruits?
You wouldn't be able then to answer the question in Proverbs 30:4.G-d has no son, other than the fact that all of us are G-d’s children.
Enjoy being alone out there on your limb. Here's a hint, don't cut between you and the trunk.I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the only way to God is if you approve.![]()
That is the very controversy the early church debated, whether to force new Gentile Christians to follow the Mosaic Law that they couldn't even follow or not. That’s a matter of discussion - whether you set your mind to something and good actions follow, or you do the actions (follow the Law) and the feelings follow.

Since I didn't do that, you're not talking about me, although it would seem that you would dearly love to put me in that group.Agree. That is the subgroup to which I am referring.

That I rejected Jesus, as a criticism. In what way?
No, He knows us by our BEHAVIOR. There are 613 commandments that dictate good behavior. No, He knows us by our hearts.
I said you reject Him completing the Law if you reject Him, but accept it if you accept Him. I don't know why you would take that as a denigration, it's a simple fact. Do you accept that He completed the Law?That I rejected Jesus, as a criticism.
