Idea for forum feature

This has to do with the active topics link.

Is there a way we can block specific threads from showing up on the "Active" list if we want to? If not could we do that?

I'm thinking there are certain threads (the 40 ted kennedy ones for example) that I have no desire to read or post in and I would like to block them from showing up so other threads can make it to my "active topics" list.

Is this a good idea?
Is it even feasable?
Does it exist already ?

I've had enough, I've grown up my whole life with that murder as my senator and I just dont wanna see the threads.

But thats not my only reason. There are many other active threads that dont interest me that I would like to get out of the way of other recently active threads.

I have my USERCP list of recent threads that i posted in but sometimes there are good new threads out there.
