I guess you're right as it is about whether or not the burgers are good but the debate is NOT about veganism versus veganism and that's the issue as the thread has very much derailed.

Understood, but just to be fair, if it was a "general discussion" there will likely be some dissenting opinions.

If the topic is started clean, and gets trolled or taken off topic, that's when using the report function should be used.

Opposing opinions are fine but they went full attack mode on us and I already tried to report it but I don't think that anything was done about it.

First, ignore the bastards. Put 'em on Ignore, works pretty good. Maybe The Lounge would work? Maybe The Bull Ring, minus the bull? That forum is invite only, yes?

Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, but it does have it's downside => assholes and trolls. Do not respond to them, they just want to mess with you. Don't give them the satisfaction.

That way threads that aren't meant to be debates from the very beginning can't turn into them so we can have our safe space to just talk about it. Obviously I'm not just talking about casual differing opinions here.


I'm talking about flame wars as two of my topics on here already turned into against my wishes. I couldn't even put them in the clean debate area because they weren't meant to be debates period. So in other words I just want to have casual discussions in peace.

You want to come on here and talk what? Nonsense? I'm sure there are places on this forum for total nonsense. In fact most of the debate areas there's no debate because 90% of this forum is utterly incapable of making an argument in the first place.

She is completely unaware of her own trolling. She just can't handle when someone responds with a different opinion

I never attacked any vegans and you know it and you also know that you were off topic. How about you just give it a rest already and stick to politics? It's what you're the best at.


FYI if I had attacked vegans a mod would have said something to me about it but they didn't.
