I think we wont agree on basics, because to me "gay" people dont exist. As physical entitity, to me it is a pyschological thing, like that someone is greedy or nyphomanic, and sleeps around with many women or a women with many men. I would condemn it as well, maybe that psychology is even innate because they are naturally inclined to have a high sex libido. Maybe a high sex libido is in their nature, but I still would consider it wrong. I see no discrimination or that it has anything to do with freedom. For me sexuality is regulated, and a man sleeping with a man is abomination, like bestiality. You dont understand that because they brainwashed you to believe gay is a identity or seperate physical entity, or seperate biological species, therefore should not be discriminated, but when you say married man with kids are suddenly gay, or there is also gay for pay, and there are men who are not gay but make out with other men, then to me that is impossible, but you see nothing suspicious with it, you rationalise it that they were always gay and had to marry. Like in your example of the father of your female friend.

I've known people who came out as gay, and they weren't what you're describing. They weren't going around trying to fuck everything in sight. The exact opposite. They were not having relationships because they were scared of what people might say.

I've also know gay people you'd never know were gay. Just normal people with stable relationships.

I've also known complete and utter bitches who went and slept with anything and everything and acted like idiots.

Then again I've known such people who are straight too.

And no, nobody brainwashed me. When I was 18 at university I lived with this gay guy and I was speaking to him and wanted to say something was ridiculous. So I said it was "gay". Clearly the wrong thing to say to a gay guy, but I was young and naive. When I was growing up there was nothing about being nice to gay people at all. It wasn't even spoken of.

I'm just not an asshole. I don't go around treating people badly because I've suddenly decided I don't like what they do that doesn't impact me or doesn't have anything to do with me or other people.

Once again, all over a big American city this weekend. Once again, Pride flags and banners on almost all churches. The Cross not so prominent.

This is idolatry, and the Church endorses it. It is loving your sin more than Christ. It is horrid for Christians--if there are any Christians in those churches, which I doubt.

Let's frame this differently.

Are there drunks in churches? Without a doubt, and drug abusers. And adulterers, liars, and people who cheat and steal.

But now imagine a banner decorating a church "We Love Drunks". "All Cheaters Accepted Here". Etc.

It's not that the sin exists that is so bothersome. Sin exists. Asks any mature Christian if they don't know this. We know.
