I voted for Trump to lower prices. I voted for him not to cause trade wars with other countries. Now we're all going to see price increases.

I hope those willing to endure the economic hardship so we can stick it to other countries can justify to me why this was necessary. Why did we need these tariffs when we could have done something to ease the pain here in America?

America is in the first stages of a surgical procedure which is to remove a faulty organ and replace it with something better. It will take time for it to happen and to ultimately recuperate and adjust to the changes, but once it does it will be better than before. Much better. Don't expect our inpatient industrial base to be running marathons overnight. New tarrifs on Chinese goods made products more expensive than they otherwise would be during Trump's first term, during Biden's term and of course now during Trump's second term as he is multiplying tarriff volume 5 times over.

Trump has the biggest and most beautiful tariffs in the world! Can't force the companies to move back. We don't have the tech. We make no cameras, no tv, no computers and down the line. Even if the rep's pipe dream came true, inflation would be stupefying. Wages are very high in the USA.
