I Cannot Stand George Carlin

With a Brooklyn street smart persona he mad the "F" word popular. I doubt if his list of banned words would faze today's kids.

His most timely routine right now. . .

The asshole is not funny and he told lots of lies about religion. Either he was ignorant or he lied to make people laugh. I am glad the son of a ***** is dead.

He was funny, but it was obvious he'd been hurt or abused by someone he looked up to as a spiritual leader at some point. He wasn't strong enough to see that people are not religion, and religion is not God.

I admire him for this, because he did this special in 1999, when Clinton was president. So-called "comics" today won't touch these issues when a Democrat is in the White House. Like the losers on SNL, who have STILL not done a sketch about Joe Biden, despite having the best material in the world available every day. They're still talking about Trump.

Carlin was a fantastic social commentator precisely because he made his points with humor. Paved the way for a great many comics with his dry, deadpan, and incisive perspective on life. Without him, we might not have a Jerry Seinfeld or Bill Burr, amongst many others.
