Already in Hitler's government, Hugenberg handed over the memorandum at the London that shocked the world community. He spoke about the imperialist claims of Germany in Africa and the East, about the peoples that must yield power to the "Germans", and the like.
Germany official apologized for this speech, and said that it was only a private opinion. Hugenberg was then thrown out of Hitler's government and soon went poor.
After the end of the war, Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill treated him with unusual gentleness.
