My version is the following.

Swat is a district in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a valley of the same name, a historical region and a former principality.

From it comes the name of the valley and the entire region of Swat, as well as the Aryan archaeological culture of Swat.

The word Sara is most likely a form of the word "ara". The word ara / ar is often found in the names of rivers (for example, Samara is the confluence of rivers, there is the Syr Darya, Amu Darya, and so on). The ethnonym "Arya" itself probably comes from the same place, because shepherds have always lived in river valleys.

The word "svat" has remained in modern languages, it means bright and divine.

This means that Saraswati meant Divine River or Bright River, and it was in the upper reaches of the Indus Valley, in the north of Aryavarta.

(currently the valley is occupied by the Taliban)

From the name of this river comes the goddess of the Vedic pantheon Saraswati and the later Eastern goddess Deva Anahita-Saraswati
It means the pure goddess Saraswati, it probably influenced the Christian virgin.

In addition, during the period of Median dominance in Central Asia, there was a country called Aria in this place.
