The price of eggs is down, but the price of beef can't be lowered as fast because the herds were thinned due to the drought.
So Trump is trying to import more beef.

As ICE deports millions more illegals that should lower grocery prices, (lower demand) but that takes time. It better not take too long.

They were going up before ACA. They have continued to go up. Our healthcare expenses havent moved in 40 years. Just a straight line up. The ACA provide more insurance to more people without changing that expense trend.

When families are struggling to keep up with price increases there are no other issues.

Yes, it can be a winnign issue for the Democrats.

I'd say democrats have a good shot at the mid-terms by just promising lower prices.

The problem with Democrats promising "lower prices," is that they never mean the price actually lowers. What they mean is that the government subsidizes prices, making the amount the consumer pays at point of sail lower.

Of course, consumers love that, but we have to understand where the money comes from. The overwhelming majority of taxes collected to go servicing the debt and paying for non-discretionary spending. Spending on something like the ACA subsidies comes entirely from borrowed or printed money.

An awesome plan if we assume the world ends in a relatively short and predictable time, like say twenty years from now. Since it almost certainly won't, we are just forcing our grandchildren into massive debt while devaluing their dollars in the process, so that we can be more comfortable financially in this moment in time.

Most of the illegals are in big cities, legitimate farm workers are not being targeted for deportation.
Besides, winter is coming, the harvest season is long over.
