I don't think you understand the Logistics of how vouchers and school choice (as you see it) works.

We have school choice right now......move to the district you choose, or PAY your own way to the Private School you choose.

The problem is that most single mothers - many with 4 and 5 children with different fathers - don’t even BOTHER to try to make him pay. The welfare benefits are so generous that they say it’s easier to not make demands on the fathers and just make the government (translation: other people) support the kids.

Yes, but what good does that do if another state cannot locate him to serve him the papers? It took a year to show abandonment to get a divorce and another two years for him to start and then stop paying child support. It is not as easy as it would seem. I put a roof over my daughter and my grandsons' heads, not their father. I was the father figure in their lives until my wonderful son-in-law took over and is doing a masterful job as their stepfather.

The solutions worked for thousands of years. Two parent households, requiring responsibility from parents and children, not having children before the parents could support them. The only societies that didn't use those rules had horrendous infant and child death rates, often with ten percent or fewer children surviving to their teen years. Since the sixties all the "social scientist's" programs have done is remove responsibility from parents, encourage infantile behavior from teenagers and hurt society as a whole.

So how do we fix it? Do you plan or creating a drug we can prescribe to change human nature?

You want inner city schools to be a success? Successfully teach the students the difference between right and wrong. Successfully teach them the basics: reading, writing, mathematics, English, and some fundamental, hands-on skills like mechanics, cooking, welding, carpentry, garden management, basic budgeting, etc. Remove "woke" ideology. Don't worry about teaching them the quickest way to put on a condom. No cell phones on during class. Push the students to a higher standard and expel the ones who repeatedly create distractions, violence, or disrespect for authority.

As it stands now, they’re not even bothering with an attempt because it’s easier for them to just get taxpayers to pay for their kids. And I’m talking about some with four and five babies and four or five “daddies” - none of whom pays a cent.

I know they don’t have to in Virginia. They just collect more and more and more for each illegitimate baby they pop out - and just feel entitled to everyone but the father supporting their kids.

They should be required to file for child support.

So, you are going to force men to take DNA tests against their will on the word of any woman? That's unconstitutional. Also, who pays for the tests? The taxpayers?
