How to reduce the harmful chemicals in your diet.

I usually try to fast until 3:00 PM, it's not that hard after your body adjusts. In fact, your body quickly adapts to whatever eating schedule you choose, people just don't try to find out what might work. 18 hour daily fasts are not difficult.

I avoid all things like MSG, and nitrites and other preservatives. Also excessively smoked foods. Any artificial flavors, colors, etc. Also GMO foods. I stay away from processed foods in general. I often make my own soups from scratch. I also don't eat a huge amount of meat. I like stir fry anything with rice and veggies, but eating a whole steak is almost never a part of my menu. I've also taken to eating fish at least two times a week. It's arguable that ingesting some chemicals or metals from seafood (from the water that it was raised in) is unavoidable, but this can be minimized. I've grown to appreciate the fact that my appetite and taste is not as spoiled or desensitized by, and to, unhealthy ingredients as most Americans.

Once a year I visit Peru, my wife's native country, for about two weeks..During that time I often eat more, but actually end up LOSING weight not gaining it. Seafood is very popular there, as is rotisserie chicken and short ribs, lamb, etc.....but somehow I end up looking better and feeling better when I am headed back to the States. That's because our food supply here in the U.S..is GARBAGE. When I first visited Peru I got the infamous Montezuma's Revenge a number of times, about twice kind of bad. However, this is more because.my body wasn't used to the residual bacteria that most Peruvian have grown up with. Now when I visit Peru I rarely ever get bad diarrhea or other digestive issues anymore. Our food in the U.S..is a joke compared to other places, and many Americans are kidding themselves on this topic.

I eat two meals per day. Breakfast at 10:30 A.M., supper around 6 P.M. with light snacking after that. I might have a protein shake midafternoon on workout days.

That's optimal, two meals a day. I do light snacking and try to make carrots, celery, or mixed nuts the core snacks.
