This is a chilling warnimg of things to come. Why would you scale back on forecasting ?It makes no sense. Are they expecting Mexico to give them a call when things get hot ? Is being forewarned saving lives as Milton comes visiting.

The cruellest twist is the refusal of federal aid to states in distress..It will bankrupt states with refular disasters. That is most of them.Losing the federal insurance scheme would also make some places uninhabitable and lead to less resiliant rebuilding.

At the heart of this is the GOP luddite attitude to climate change. It runs right thru their crazy refoms.. Its time for them to grow up and join the struggle.

I just don’t believe that someone else can make up something, and then the other party gets to attribute that to someone else.

Trump denies it, I don’t see any evidence of it. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
