There is an old trick that uses the economic illiteracy of the people. Unemployment and employment are not linked to wealth. In a poor country, employment is usually high. The bottom line is that if the family is rich, then the wife can afford not to work, if the family is poor, the wife will work two jobs. Therefore, these figures may indicate the opposite

Employment numbers are mainly calculated by a month-to-month tally of unemployment claims. It does not directly count people who do not have jobs.

But this does not in any way speak of poverty and wealth. If the country becomes poorer, the number of job seekers grows, industry increases and these needs are extinguished, that's all. As a result, the surge in unemployment falls, and the country remains poor.

There are a multitude of metrics used to gauge the health of the economy besides just employment.

As a rule, the growth of employment indicates the growth of the economy. The more slaves work on the plantation, the more cane is produced.

It does not matter. The growth of the economy also does not speak of the wealth of the people, this is also a trick. And Trump used this trick too.
For example, in China there was a huge growth in GDP and the poverty rate remained at about the same level.

Back in the 1970s when gasoline was 29 cents and a loaf of bread was a nickel, yeah, there could be a one income family , but when Carter ruined the economy with his stagflation, then it became a two income family ever since. Let progressives get in charge and soon, everyone will have to work, because it will be by the point of a gun..

TRUMP viewed national security and trade as one, economist predicted TRUMP's tariffs were going to raise prices when they did just the opposite. Under Obama just as we're seeing with FJB prices are skyrocketing.

With TRUMP you had the majority of economist going off the rails with predictions of TRUMP's steel and aluminum tariffs leading to people having to pay $15 for a can of Campbell's soup. Now many of the same economists are scrambling to downplay real price increases under FJB.

Exactly, but this trollboy disinformation agent has no interest in facts,he ignores the corruption of Reagan what a mass murdering warmonger he was and calls trump the traiter.:auiqs.jpg:this thread needs to be corrected to say how Obama and Reagan cheated on Americans.it’s common knowledge Reagan catered to the super wealthy and gave them major tax cuts and the middle class familys suffered from his policys.

It is not true. There are no changes from previous years, and in the second half of the term, income dropped significantly.

Incomes are traditional higher under a Republican president..One reason being Republicans are not funding every social program that comes down the pike...And besides with Dementia Joe opening up our borders thats all the more reason to fund illegals! Got to remember we are now the minority in this country.. Apartheid in reverse, instead of it being a segregation of blacks it has now become a segregation of non black or non Hispanic...Going to stop here and control my outrage...
