As for the Middle East, your point might be valid if the Middle East were some place like Ukraine no one gave two shits about, but the Middle East controls a large fraction of the global oil supply, so directly or indirectly affects everything else, and the rat bastards keep promising to wipe us off the face of the planet and they were actively developing nuclear weapons.
