How many here voted for Trump ...

LOL....I don't think that the ME even entered into it. It's always been a shitshow.

I'll say this, had Trump promised to push-in Iran's shit like he has I would have been all for it.
That's great. But I know a lot of people said they were voting for Trump because they thought he wouldn't do what he's now doing.

Right on. We’ve always been at war with Eastasia.

I voted for Trump twice because the Democratic Party is pro-illegal immigrant and anti-American. It was an easy choice.
It could be easily argued most of his policies are anti-american. Like his socialism. Foreign aid. Wars. Making our 250th anniversary all about him. 10 Trillion in debt. Good lord, I could go on and on and on and on.

... because you thought he was opposed to our meddling in the Middle East?

Just curious.
I'm almost exactly the opposite. I voted for Trump begrudgingly for a few reasons, with one of them actually being I didn't like his thoughts on no new wars. Iran needed to be taken out and I'm glad we finally got someone as president who had the balls to do it. Better to fight them now than later when they were far more powerful and an "imminent" threat.

Having said that, Kamala Harris was a nonstarter right out of the gate and so are third parties. Simply voting for Joe or Jane Schmoe because they aren't democrats or republicans isn't the answer. If third parties really want to win then they need to field candidates who can actually win, not no names. The Libertarians fielded a guy who said right off the bat that he would be happy with getting 2% of the vote and got 1%. What's the point of that? Worthless waste of time and money.

He's made them twist themselves into pretzels. He has no principles or morals, so that's what happens.
It's a type of gaslighting. He keeps their heads spinning with all the flip-flopping reversals, so that they lose all sense of right and wrong, up and down, true or false.

As I said in another post, I didn't vote for him because of no new wars but I'm glad as hell he bombed the shit out of Iran. But, I will be disappointed if he doesn't finish the job.
