How Joe Biden Re Ignited Our Government Engine After Donald Trumps Damage

Yes we are and at all those that believe Biden saved this country…

They remind me of the bible thumpers who swear up and down that the world is only 6000 years old and that dinosaur bones were put on the earth by Satan to fool us all.

All faith. No intellect.

As Michael Lewis showed in his book The Fifth Risk, the federal government is the greatest information collection and processing machine ever devised by humankind for making better decisions and driving a nation’s business and economic success.

Trump Russia-fied it.

He rifled through his rolodex of oligarchs and installed sycophantic bumblers (a man who couldn’t recall the existence of his agency), ideologues compromised by foreign governments, grifters and corporate raiders on the make into key leadership positions.

The most senior leaders seemed to neither know nor care what their job was while experienced government professionals in the levels below stood aghast at the wreckage to good government.

Trump not only failed to leverage the potential of the system (unsurprising from a man who believed that he “alone” could fix things), he pulled a full Putin by outright ignoring the collective smarts of his massive support structure whenever he was seized by a fantastical notion or random whim.

The most famous incidents varied from the comic (think sharpie-hurricane), to the tragi-comic (injecting disinfectant), to the downright tragic (the Syria withdrawal that even leading Republicans called “disastrous” and a “betrayal”).

The damage done by Donald Trump will take years to fix, and the fact this traitor to the Constitution of the United States hasn't already been hung is a travesty.
Trump's unconditional surrender of America's leadership in international affairs was painful for patriots.

Under Trumpery, potential allies are to be blamed and whined about, not embraced as opportunities to enhance America's power.

And, when the Loser did find love, it was in all the wrong places:

Deft diplomacy isn't as brash and glitzy as a former schlock reality-tv entertainer spewing vendetta-driven invectives whilst shamelessly pleasuring himself with self-glorification, but we see its results:

Just days before Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, President Joe Biden quietly dispatched a team to European Union headquarters in Belgium.
These were not spy chiefs or generals, but experts in reading fine print and tracking the flow of money, computer chips and other goods around the world. Their mandate: inflict maximum pain on Russian President Vladimir Putin, making it harder, if not impossible, for him to fund a prolonged war in Ukraine and denying him access to technologies at the core of modern warfare.
There were intense meetings in February in Brussels, Paris, London and Berlin, often running six hours at a time as the allies tried to craft the details of a historic economic blockade, according to Biden administration officials. Some of the exports the U.S. wanted to ban were met with reluctance by the Europeans, who would essentially be telling their own companies to forgo several billion dollars in annual revenues from Russia.

When there was a deadlock, U.S. negotiators would put Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on the phone.
“You can say ‘no’ now, but when the body bags are coming out of Ukraine, you’re not going to want to be a holdout,” Raimondo said she told allied counterparts. “Do the right thing.”
Everyone signed on — and before the invasion.
Raimondo said what ultimately drove the agreement and the fast timeline was the threat of Putin's imminent attack on Ukraine.
“We all got religion fast that it was time to band together and stick together,” she said. “If you cause enough pain, isolate Putin, it will bring this war to an end.”
The wealthiest nations in the world — outside of China — are directly confronting Putin on their preferred terms. They have imposed sanctions in which their strengths intersect with Russia's vulnerabilities. Russia is reliant on the U.S., the EU, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan for cutting-edge technologies and investment, so the allies decided to cut Moscow off.
It's a strategic play designed to trap Putin in a downward spiral, as foreign investors pull out their money in response to the atrocities. It's also a remarkable show of unity that could be tested in the coming weeks by the allies' own dependence on fossil fuels...
The alternative approach about which Trump's own national security adviser's direct experience with Trump informs him?

Really good story on how Biden is unwinding the incompetence and straight up larceny thrown into the government under the former administration. As the article says “none of this is sexy…
There will be no 30-second ads about agency rulemaking, no bumper sticker slogan about fixing the gears of government.” However Biden is workmanlike putting it back together.

I can see the Russian bots, and the trumpcockswallowers are having a hard time with the article.

They actually believe the Trump treason is coming back. Boy are they in for a rude awakening.

The engine of the economy in the U.S. is energy. Biden sent the signal to energy companies/ oil companies,
that he is going to shut them down.... he even said at some point he would be locking some of them up. Immediately on becoming POTUS, he shut down the pipeline and banned future oil leases on public lands.
Oil companies got the message loud and clear and now we can see the results.
take Obama's words on it, not mine... To paraphrase Obama.. "never underestimate Joes ability to fuck things up"

Trump had the economy running just fine and improving until the man made pandemic hit. The fact that your wishing someone to be hung only proves your some kind of psycho.... run along and find some better meds.

The reminds me of a book I saw. "Winning Roulette". The premise is absurd. The idea that the senile leftist Biden did anything but screw up the greatest economy in history is laughable. But you knew that. That's why the trolling OP.
