How is the Selma rally different from a KKK rally?

We want to end racism. so, let's bash whites and ignore black hate, that's going to end racism? Really? Actually it's alienating a lot of people and is hypocritical. THAT is were I am coming from. Let's address REAL racial issues or shut the hell up. Because this one sided veiled attack on whites isn't helping anyone.

You have been reported Tyrone for that disgusting photo. Have respect for that woman
The photo is within the rules. Your postings are not.
I see what that poster is complaining about...a Black woman hanging...he is not upset that people with minds capable of such an atrocity hung the woman...not upset about that...the poster is upset that I documented racist atrocities...

white people are not beset by racism ...Black people are ....

those who marched at selma had a noble cause that simply highlighted the disparity in our society and promoted equal rights - kkk rallies, on the other hand, are purely and simply focused on promoting hatred in an attempt to dominate others and hold onto unwarranted unfair power.

so there' a huge difference!

I live with and among blacks, and I see what bigotry and hate they are capable of, but it's disguised. Ignorant apparatchiks like you use sarcasm and snark to avoid the ugly truth. Get real.

The klan hates blacks and the selma loons hate whites?

The Selma event was honoring an event that was in the name of EQUALITY, not racial SUPREMACY, you dope.

really? these people weren't honoring anyone or anything..... but went out and made a mockery of Selma for their own nasty agenda. Too bad for you many people saw it for just what it was

ALL of it here:
Bush Derangement Syndrome Civil Rights Leader Refused to Cross Bridge with ex-President in Selma VIDEO The Gateway Pundit

Roland Martin reported that an associate of slain civil rights icon the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. told him that she refused to march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama Saturday because of the presence of former President George W. Bush.

So. One person who had an issue with Bush invalidates the intent of the event?

Are you serious?

Its not my problen that you hate the current POTUS as much as you do, or that people of all races and backgrounds came together for one day to honor the memory of people who stood against those like you. It was a successful event, but it was just one day.

You should find solace in the fact that
when the 100th anniversary happens it is likely that you will be dead and gone.

Get over it.and move on.

I don't want to rain on the parade, What happened in Selma in sixty five was a positive step. My last few post on this thread, I had just been in a confrontation with someone of color, long story. I was objectively and morally and simply was right. But, this black woman ramps up a stupid issue and starts calling me hateful racist names and saying I don't understand blacks...WELL, I know an asshole when I see one. I ended up needing a police escort out of the place because I won't take that "woe is us blacks" routine anymore. If we TRULY want to transcend bigotry, we have to stop this unilateral emphasis on whites and...dare I say it? In the sprit of Selma? Stop all hate , across the board. Put all blacks under the same microscope.

OK then , prove it

Blacks, yeah, can be racist as well.

But folks like squeeze bring it to an awful state, yeah.

The difference between Selma nonsense and KKK rallies is...

More blacks buy into overt racism than whites do.

That's all.

It was progress. A good thing, something for American history.

KKK is the past, another slice of American history.

I think the voting issue, at this time is geared towards the illegal immigrants. And if their ability to manipulate the welfare and tax system is a indicator, there should be reason to make sure elections are on the up and up.

Blacks have proven in some cases to vote in large segment blocks and do perfectly fine. Clayton Missouri........meanwhile, a couple of miles down the road in Ferguson.

squeeze, folks like you don't deserve the time of day.

You are a stain on the American dream. Selma commemorates the beginning of the end of the nightmare your ilk want to inflict on our country.

You have not ruined anything. Your stain is easily removable, and we will keep wash and rinse and dry as long as it takes. Sux to be you folks.
