And during GW Bush's administration we had republicans saying that deficit spending didn't matter anymore.

The last presidents that cared about the federal budget deficit were GHW Bush and Clinton. Bush the 1st got things rolling, Clinton and a Congress with democrat majorities in both Houses then passed the deficit reduction act, and the republicans took over Congress and held spending in check during the remainder of Clinton's administration along with the dot-com boom that helped the revenue side.

GW Bush's agenda seemed only to reverse the 2 major criticism his father faced as president, (1) the elder's Bush support of fiscal responsibility and (2) not taking down Saddam Hussein.

I view all of our 21st century presidents as totally worthless.

Ya know what, you need research a few things.

If we were to freeze the budget today, withing 2 and 1/2 years, we would have the funds to balance the budget. YES, we would still have the massive debt, but as the money flowed in, we could pay it down.

WHY IT DOES NOT WORK!

Because people from BOTH political entities want the money to spend on what they want. Instead of congress taking an approach to resubmit funds to different places, they would rather try and push where they want it to go. What happens is----------->no freeze happens, as to get the spending they want for their pet projects, they pass spending far above the freeze, then claim victory.

THE ONLY WAY for us to fix this, is to groooooooooowwwwwwwww out of it. In other words, massively INCREASE our economic and production activity, causing tremendous amounts of taxable events to happen. And, that will only work IF you can stop the government from constantly raising spending.

And consider this----------->forget that the Left hates DJT. Suppose this all works. Suppose with these TRILLIONS coming into the country, we need expand our workforce, so we allow LEGAL IMMIGRANTS OF THE COUNTRY'S CHOICE, into America. They work, and everybody lives large, and pays a great sum into taxes.........but does not care, because we are humming along like no other country.

And so------------->life is now good, the national debt is falling, and we are taking in 1 trillion a year extra! HOW LONG before the DEMOCRATIC/SOCIALIST/LEFT tells you to spend it elsewhere? How long before they DERAIL the pay down? How long before they tell students they should have no college debt? How long before they say that blue city's downtown districts, should be paved in gold? How long before they want to divert money to save the polar bears?

REALIZE that what we need do, is a life time commitment, or the USA will fail.
