I asked you a question. Answer it. The above is not an answer.what were we doing before? Seems like nothing. Everyone else was just happy to let it keep going.
We finally agree on something. How do you balance the budget when you give tax cuts to the rich to the tune of $5 trillion?
The poor don't pay income tax. No tax on tips, OT, or on SS helps the working poor.
Tariffs cut into China's cash, corporations fund science, real science.
Medicaid isn't gutted, only the ineligible are removed.
Space mining may happen after we figure out how to do it as cheaply as on Earth.
Yeah okay smartypants. I'll take the "temporary enhanced deduction".Trump’s scheme sharply limits the tips deduction.
There is NO break regarding tax on SS.
Sure, if what he is saying is so.We finally agree on something.
If the senate raises the top rate to 40% as Trump wants, that would raise $500b a year and balance the budget.
So you agree with Trump?

Higher taxes on millionaires? Trump says he's open, but many in his party are not
Why not tax the millionaires? That question won't seem to go away as Congress begins drafting a package of tax breaks and spending cuts for President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful bill."apnews.com
1. When you subsidize the poor, any efforts to cut those subsidies and ask them to rely on themselves is seen as "attacking" them.
2. Science doesn't necessarily need money. It evolved quite well before the concept of funding it was invented.
3. Medicaid? Nobody is stripping any well-meaning American citizen of Medicaid, it is being taken away from illegal immigrants, who don't deserve any benefits a legal citizen enjoys.
Anything else?
How do you balance the budget without
-Attacking the poor
-Cutting the fuck out of science and handing our leadership to china
-Gutting mediaid that helps millions of people including old in nursing homes.
on and on.
I say the only way is space colonization and mining of the resources of space. We'll have to double or triple the size of our economy at a minimum. We can only do this with the ability to expand our resources and ability to control industries. Space.

I think the answer was evident. From the last few posts. I'll summarize. I don't like the idea of tariffs, but considering that, without us trying to even the field, things would have kept going as they have been for decades, with America getting the short end of the stick, we need to do something.
Our producers do not have equal access to foreign markets, yet we welcome them wire open arms. That's not fair to our exporters.
Isn't that the answer you were looking for?
Thank you. You don't understand just how well we have done for decades.
Now we have dementia old geezer stumbling around weaking the global economy.

Telling them they cannot prosper without government is an attack, doofus. Saying there is no other route to prosperity except through government is an attack.Cut aid to the poor and they are being attacked.
Nobody said anything about abandoning it. I simply said science and innovation got along pretty well before the concept was invented. You don't necessarily need money to have curiosity.Government investment in science is a strategic resource in a technological age. Abandoning it weakens America and is a path to becoming second rate.
Did you read the bill, or are you peddling fear? Go read the Medicaid part of the bill before you peddle garbage.Medicaid is being ripped from a lot of well meaning Americans will suffer. The ranks of the uninsured will swell by seven million, reversing the trend set by the A.C.A.
Yes, yes they do. And you didn't prove this claim either. I invite you to go ahead and try.illegals have nothing to do with it.
Simply put
You don’t
A balanced budget is a unicorn
