How do you balance the budget without

I hope we can but there will never be a budget that will satisfy democrats and their minions in the media as long as we have a president with the balls to put America first.
He is putting himself first, business and the wealthy second, and the citizens last.

And that works the same way with tariffs.

Sure it does, but tariffs are meant to be only temporary, to get to the point of free trade.

Why are the leftys not griping about the tariffs that other countries have had on the US for decades?

Taxes can be temporary.

I don't want tariff taxes on consumers.

What do you think happens when you raise taxes on corporations?

How do you balance the budget without
-Attacking the poor
-Cutting the fuck out of science and handing our leadership to china
-Gutting mediaid that helps millions of people including old in nursing homes.
on and on.

I say the only way is space colonization and mining of the resources of space. We'll have to double or triple the size of our economy at a minimum. We can only do this with the ability to expand our resources and ability to control industries. Space.

Agreed.

Expansion is necessary for the human race, and impossible on a fixed size planet that's already full.

And, capitalism works best when the ratio of available resources to people is very large.

Space travel should be a priority. It's probably more important than social programs.

"ability to control industries."

You do know that private companies are already doing space better and cheaper than the any Government has done. If you think the bloated bureaucracy that is the Federal Government should control these companies, you are a moron.

One counter example does mean anything.

Find a thousand, and you are cooking.
The Space Shuttle cost $20,000 per pound to launch into orbit. After the Obama administration canceled the program the US paid the Russians over 3 billion to catch rides on their rockets. SpaceX launches for $1500 per pound and that price will drop more once the Starship starts carrying cargo and astronauts.

That's a start. Find another thousand programs.

And cause major problems here and with global economy.

This is such a bozo strategy by the Orange Bumbler.

I don't like what its doing to the economy any more than you, however, would you rather try and fix the problem, or let things continue as they were, with the rest of the world screwing us?

I'm sure everyone hates us now, because we're finally standing up for ourselves, and they don't like it. I'm sure they would just love it if we kept on doing things they way we have been for decades.

Maybe, just maybe; this will make trade fair, so our producers have equal access to foreign markets as they do to ours.

How do you balance the budget when you give tax cuts to the rich to the tune of $5 trillion?

I've explained countless times on this forum two very simple ways to balance the budget.

1. Ban all tax expenditures except for the EITC.

2. Raise the Social Security and Medicare eligibility age to 70, and index it to 9 percent of the population going forward.

Boom. Not just balanced, but a surplus.

This would also have the serendipitous effect of halting hundreds of millions of dollars of campaign cash being donated to our corrupt politicians to keep this criminal scheme of tax expenditures in place.

Instant campaign finance reform.

You think this is the way to fix the problem?
