lol. Too late. Who are you? You can fight against the wealthy? Do you know anything about lobbying in White House?Iran is not interested in peace talks: Iran war: Tehran sees no reason to talk with US
Our former friends have understandably told us to go to hell: European countries reject Trump’s call for help to reopen strait of Hormuz
Iran wants their pound of flesh for this, at least. They're not going to let us out of there without some pain.
I'm assuming that there's some kind of back-channel talking going on, but how else can we get of this mess? Can't Trump just declare some kind of victory and run? He can just make something up. That's what he does. Just keep saying "we won, we won".
Ideas?
The rich will get richer from the war. Mostly U.S. defense and energy firms, plus some intelligence/analytics and shipping/tanker businesses are now super happy!
- Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon/RTX, General Dynamics, L3Harris, Boeing Defense — demand for missiles, fighters, radars, missile‑defense and airframe support rises; governments accelerate procurement and sustainment spending → higher revenues, backlogs, and stock gains.
- Palantir — military/intelligence data analytics and mission‑software contracts become more valuable during active operations.
- Kratos, AeroVironment, other drone/loitering‑munitions makers — increased procurement of drones and counter‑UAS systems.
- ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Occidental, Cheniere Energy, Venture Global — oil & LNG producers/exporters benefit from higher energy prices and tighter regional supply (Strait of Hormuz risk).
- Tanker/shipping firms (e.g., Frontline, International Seaways, Maersk/Hapag‑Lloyd internationally) — rerouting, higher freight/tanker rates and demand for alternate routes increase revenues.
- Cypher/security suppliers and some private military/contractor services — logistics, ISR, and force‑protection contracts expand.
Overall: military action raises near‑term demand for weapons, missile defense, ISR/intelligence services and logistics, while geopolitical risk pushes oil and LNG prices higher, benefiting energy producers and related transport firms.
