How did we go from "Unconditional Surrender" to Lifting Sanctions/Unfreezing $25B in Assets and Setting up $300B investment pools? Didn't we win?

I completely agree we have to wait and see to find out how this turns out. But on its appearance, we got nothing out of this war.

Amendment to the above: we may not have long to wait.

Trump is getting something out of this war. His pedophilia is no longer being talked about. Epstein who?

I'd love to hear from Trump supporters how its a victory when Trump first wanted "unconditional surrender" then wound up allowing them access to $23B more dollars than Obama did? Then on top of that, lifting sanctions on Iranian oil as well.

Back in the old days, the side that won dictated terms to the side that lost. Seems like we're not doing much dictating.
And still Iran is going to build a nuke. Lol. More so now after trump murdered the supreme leaders father. Not a good way to start a negotiation.

This happens every time we go to war for the globalist corporations. We spend a fortune repairing the country for Pepsi and John Deere.

Trump said Iran can have ballistic weapons because their neighbors have them. Their neighbors also have nukes.

How does maga not see trump is really stupid?

What you’ll hear from Trump supporters are lies and failed attempts to deflect.

Otherwise, Trump himself told us why he capitulated to Iran and is paying them reparations for his failed, illegal war of choice – he didn’t want to become another Herbert Hoover.

Jimmy Kimmel: "Just to recap: we killed the ayatollah and replaced him with a younger, more radical ayatollah.

We did nothing for the protesters in Iran.

We used up who knows how many billions of dollars on bombs and missiles.

Many American and civilian lives were lost.

We gave Iran full control of the strait of Hormuz and we threw in a minimum of $300 billion, ’cause why not?

Right now, Melania’s wondering, ‘How do I get a deal like that?’"
And what’s your solution?

We set them back probably decades, they will need to rebuild their military and navy. They won’t be getting a nuke anytime soon, that was the whole point. President Trump never stated this was a regime change war, though of course would welcome it if they were overthrown from within.

The “300 billion” is a fund to be paid for by Islamic countries, if they want.

Lots of people have big talk about Iran, yet never offer any solutions.

The great thing about this deal is it leaves Israel twisting in the wind. They thought they were going to get the U.S. to commit to a regime change war, and they would control the Middle East. Too bad for them. The Israel First crowd is big mad at this deal. The keyboard warriors wanted the U.S. to ground invade Iran, while they risk nothing. President Trump isn’t having that.

We've known all along, and we've been saying all along, that Trump would end up having to escape and put lipstick on a pig. He was trapped, the entire world (except Bebe, of course) was on his back to end this, inflation was increasing and the mid terms were approaching.

So he did exactly what we expected: He capitulated and is trying to put that goddamn lipstick on that goddamn pig.

Even his last line of political defense, his shameless, craven Republican Congress, are admitting this is awful.

The cult? Well, they're useful idiots, and they're just doing what useful idiots do.
He has admitted he lost in a speech at the G7

To have left the JCPOA in place.

Just asking, how many more of these faux outrage threads are you going to start?

Trump and his administration have made similar calculations, "what benefit does America receive by continuing this war"?
So why Trump start it?

None of his vaunted claims have been met. Remember this one?

“there will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER."

Ultimately, as long as the do not get a nuke, it will be a success.

Given the success the regime has shown in disrupting the global economy by mining and closing the Strait, it might decide it no longer needs a nuclear option.

Straits are closed again.

Iran says Hormuz is closed but ships are still moving thru...
  • The strait began reopening on June 18, after the U.S. lifted its naval blockade and Iran agreed to allow toll‑free passage for 60 days. Commercial vessels have started transiting via coastal routes.
  • Traffic is still far below normal, with only ~20–25 vessels moving and many of them Iranian‑domestic. The central deep‑water channel remains closed due to ~80 naval mines, requiring 40–50 days to clear.
  • On June 20, Iran announced it was closing the strait again, accusing the U.S. and Israel of violating the ceasefire terms related to Lebanon.

Your last bullet point is the one that matters.
