I'm excited hockey is back, but at the same time kind of wish they'd just skipped this season. The lack of prep time, the short season, this will always be an asterisk kind of year.

Whatever, no matter how long the season, the Islanders will probably find a way to suck.

Oh, and I was thinking....I have been playing so much NHL 13, and am currently playing the 2023-2024 season. I wonder how much the performance of players in the game is going to color my opinion of the actual NHL?

been watching hockey since about 3PM today when my Pens took on the scumbags from Philly. Good day all around....Pens beat Philly, Caps & Rags lost....Debbies won, but oh well....

Best part is, ton of hockey tomorrow as well! I'll skip back & forth to the title games, but football will be boring in comparison....
