The pro-Western backed Lebanese party took Parliament in the elections last night. They are firmly in control over all branches of government and the military. The next step has been predicted that the new government will require Hezbollah to disarm. However, Hezbollah has already stated that even the suggestion will lead to problems. Nothing like a sore loser. This fractional society is unsustainable. The bubble will grow and eventually burst. You never know, Hezbollah might just say the hell with it and coup the government! Who is there to stop them. EU won't (they will condemn it from an angry letter from the UN), America forsure won't, the Arabs won't (since they never have a problem with Arab on Arab killing), Russia and Israel won't (I believe she secretly was hoping for a Hezbollah victory and know hopes for a coup, since its easier fighting a war against a government than a powerful guerrilla war in the Global PC wars)!
1 of 3 things will happen in my opinion that will lead to civil war:
(1) The New Lebanese requires Hezbollah to disarm and they refuse.
(2) Hezbollah coups the Lebanese government and says hell with democracy and annoints Nassamarah (sp?) as King of Lebanon.
(3) No request to disarm is made, but fractional fightings sparks and then leads to all out civil war
