I know I'm dreaming. But I can always hope. This vicious game that's played where we just shred families apart is wrong.

To expect all the family members to never have had a speeding ticket, a car accident, done something stupid, smoked a joint, got shit faced in college, screamed at a store clerk on a bad day is outrageous.

Of course we all like to take a few shots because we're humans too and we screw up but I'm witnessing levels now that are off the richter scale.

I want humans to represent me. People who've had a life. Who haven't had a perfect childhood being groomed to be a politician. Who've screwed up in the past and put their lives back together and want to serve the country now.

One of the things I love best about my Prime Minister Harper for example is that he and his family in our version of the White House foster cats.

It's a big deal up here. Harper even has a page dedicated to fostering on his official Prime Ministers website.

And I remember when Obama's girls were so pissed off that Dad had them at the turkey pardoning. At first I was "oh girls that face is not good; you have to do better" then it hit me.



Dad will never pull that shit again on them. Man they had THE look.Obama just had committed the deadly sin of making his teenage daughters look uncool. And it was just a family moment that became very funny.
