No....it isn't fair game. You should be ashamed of yourself...this is what we've come to expect from the lowlife scum like mudwhistle Redfish Grampa Murked U .

Buzzfeed News reported that Heidi Cruz struggled with depression in 2005 when she left her job in the White House and moved to Houston. An adviser to Cruz’s campaign, Jason Miller, said in a statement to Buzzfeed News:

About a decade ago, when Mrs. Cruz returned from D.C. to Texas and faced a significant professional transition, she experienced a brief bout of depression. Like millions of Americans, she came through that struggle with prayer, Christian counseling, and the love and support of her husband and family.

Buzzfeed News also obtained a redacted police report from a September 2005 incident in Austin, Texas, where Heidi Cruz was found sitting in a grassy area in between an onramp and a freeway, with her head in her hands and no sign of a vehicle nearby.

According to the report, the responding officer believed Heidi was a “danger to herself,” and gave her a ride home in his patrol car. Heidi Cruz told police she wasn’t drunk (saying she’d only had sips of Margarita with dinner) and hadn’t taken medication. The officer said he didn’t detect intoxication.

Heidi Nelson Cruz, Ted’s Wife: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

If she wants to be First Lady - then she is fair game.

Well, honey, like they say - what goes around comes around. I'm just trying to toughen up the Commie Canuck Cruz family for the political battles that await them. I'm doing them a favor...

Another reason to vote for Cruz, thanks.

Right. Abusive crazy rightwingers make great presidents.
They made great founding fathers so why not?

I suggest you track down your history teacher and demand a refund....you were cheated
I'm thinking you got cheated. If they were progressives we would be France. You know the country the left fucked up during their revolution.

No...what you are doing is the time honored deception of disguising cruelty as candor. There was and is zero reason to spin bullshit like that at any point unless you do not know better and/or are desperate to score cheap points. You know better (or at least we all thought you did) and there is zero reason to score political points on a man's wife.

Again, you owe her an apology and if you had any honor...you'd retire as a poster for a while until you regain some much needed perspective. Right now...you are sick

You're entitled to your opinion - as am I...

Just because we CAN do a thing does not mean we SHOULD do a thing... a truly World Class Asshole -caliber move, there.

I disagree. Wives and children should be left alone.

So waiting until Michelle Obama was first lady before comparing her to a gorilla made it alright?
Nope.

That never was (nor is) alright.

Why?

Have I ever indicated anything to the contrary, to the best of your recollection?

And what does that have to do with the Rightness or Wrongness of THIS episode?

I don't think we need a first lady who might some day pull out a butcher knife and wipe out a room full of kindergartners.

Another reason to vote for Cruz, thanks.

Right. Abusive crazy rightwingers make great presidents.
They made great founding fathers so why not?

The Canadians did better. They got what we got without getting thousands killed.
Yeah, I guess we could have just stayed under the rule of kings. Of course then we would have never become who we are and coulda just been Canadian.

Would rather one that could pull out some regs and just starve them to death with lunch regulations.

I think Canada is a sovereign nation now.

I thought you progressives were all about support and caring about your fellow human beings? I see that that is simply not true. How totally unsurprising.

I disagree. Going at someone because of a health issue is really low and says more about the person doing it than the person suffering it.

You have every right to disagree - as do I...

Yup.

Mental illness is not a joke and making fun of it to score political points isn't very funny to me. That's my opinion.

Are you saying Heidi is mentally ill?

According to your article, she suffers from depression. That is a mental illness.

Non sequitur.

Have you ever seen or heard me attack the spouse and children of ANY politician, Democrat or Republican?

The answer is 'No'.

Feel free to try to prove otherwise.

And, I repeat the question.

What does ridicule and derision directed towards Michelle Obama, on the part of some people, have to do with the Rightness or Wrongness of this Cruz episode?

If it is wrong to attack Michelle Obama, is it not also wrong to attack Heidi Cruz?

If you abhor wrongdoing, then why are you engaged in it yourself, and why are you defending it?
