Heidi Cruz History Of Mental Problems

Buzzfeed News reported that Heidi Cruz struggled with depression in 2005 when she left her job in the White House and moved to Houston. An adviser to Cruz’s campaign, Jason Miller, said in a statement to Buzzfeed News:

About a decade ago, when Mrs. Cruz returned from D.C. to Texas and faced a significant professional transition, she experienced a brief bout of depression. Like millions of Americans, she came through that struggle with prayer, Christian counseling, and the love and support of her husband and family.

Buzzfeed News also obtained a redacted police report from a September 2005 incident in Austin, Texas, where Heidi Cruz was found sitting in a grassy area in between an onramp and a freeway, with her head in her hands and no sign of a vehicle nearby.

According to the report, the responding officer believed Heidi was a “danger to herself,” and gave her a ride home in his patrol car. Heidi Cruz told police she wasn’t drunk (saying she’d only had sips of Margarita with dinner) and hadn’t taken medication. The officer said he didn’t detect intoxication.

Heidi Nelson Cruz, Ted’s Wife: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

If she wants to be First Lady - then she is fair game.

It only took you a couple of days to start attacking his wife.

Ted Cruz is on his wife's Goldman Sachs healthcare plan - reportedly worth $20,000.00 plus per year. So why doesn't Ted want other people to have healthcare under Obamacare?

A Wife Committed to Cruz’s Ideals, but a Study in Contrasts to Him - The New York Times
He has insurance through his wife's employer? What a story! Wow!

It is a story when considering his hatred for Obamacare.

Only a moron like you would imagine there's any connection.

Ted Cruz eliminated himself from serious contention for POTUS because of his stance on obamacare.

The ACA at this point is part of the scenery, it can't be removed from the body politic without killing the host.

Ted Cruz' obsession with eliminating it disqualifies him from serious contention.

Republicans need to wake up on this point. The ACA is here to stay

Sorry, I disagree. The claim that it can't be eliminated is utterly groundless. Eliminating it will be far more painless than implementing it.

So how do you get 50 States to re-admit 5000 different Health Policies and Health Companies without disrupting the whole system?

Know what will happen? Insurance Companies will take their money and go home.

I'm serious. They're not gonna **** around in a stupid marketplace. They'll take their money and become Investment Bankers or Commercial Bank or Consumer Banks or send it overseas by buying Foreign Banks.

United Healthcare's Market Cap is over 100 Billion dollars right now. I would imagine they could afford to buy more than one Bank.... Or two. Or ten. For comparison purposes, GM and Ford are around $60 Billion in Market Cap

Insurance Companies are Financial Companies, not some ******* GSE. They're already one of the worst investments on earth.

The Japanese and, to a much lesser extent, the Chinese own a lot of things American -- Car Companies, Movie Companies, Banks, Real Estate. They make everything from computers to rubber dildos for Americans and they're into every Industry we have -- Except one.

Insurance. They aren't interested. Know why? There's not enough money in it and they don't understand it

People think you can just wave a Magic Wand and dissolve the ACA? Then everything goes back to normal just because we WANT it to?

You think that maybe if we just cry a lot and really loud that someone will come along and fix things for us?

That only happens with children.

The ACA is here to stay whether we like it or not.

Wanna guarantee a Republican loss in 2016? Nominate Ted Cruz or some other MORON who promises to dismantle the ACA.

I have been for mandatory participation in Health insurance for the last 40 years.

Republicans have been for it for over a HUNDRED Years.

The plan that the Lying ********** in Chief got through Congress was a REPUBLICAN PLAN!

National Review

The biggest thing I don't like about the ACA is that it was done by scum of the earth dimocraps. They **** up EVERYTHING they touch.

Everything

Ted Cruz isn't a Republican, he's a liberturdian. I HATE liberturdians.

Those scum were kicked out of the dimocrap party and infested ours.

They gave us Ross 'the insane' Pirogi and, because of The Insane One, Bill the rapist Clinton.

Her depression is going to be talked about folks. There's a police report out there for the love of God...

Ah, yes, the old journalist's trick, cloak YOUR assertion in "people are saying" gambit.
People were already in the know. It's a public record: Cruz incident report

She lost it. The question is, how's her head these days? If they talked about Hillary's panties, and they did, they're gonna talk about Heidi's depression.

Meh, who cares? She's not running. You can pretend she is, you can wish she is, but all you're going to do is reveal the very nasty, misogynistic, dark side of the democrat party. Go ahead, attack her all you want. You're going to turn off one of your important captive groups, young, single women. Here's a hint for you. Attacking Bubba while Hillary is running won't turn men off in the same way.
It doesn't have to be an attack, it's news. if it sells it's up for grabs. And really, she can put the girls in something other than little red dresses. It's not always Christmas.

Doesn't matter. All you're going to do is make yourselves look misogynistic and pathetic. Go ahead, we'll help you.

Unfortunately me thinks him right. What major government policy has ever been rescinded? Prohibition comes to mind but that about the only one I can think of. Obamacare might be transformed but certainly, if track record proves correct, it will never be completely eliminated.

While I'd laugh if Ted got run over by a stampeding herd of rabid rabbits, his wife isn't relevant. And trying to attack him through making her relevant is the lowest of the low. It's like going after a politician's kids going after their spouses.

And those who stoop to the lowest of the low still have 20 months to stoop even lower.

Well, there will certainly be massive resistance to rescinding it, but that isn't because it will be technically difficult to do. It's only because bureaucrats have already built their power bases based on its existence. It's purely a political problem, not a technical or economic problem.

I think there is a good chance that it will. There is significant public opposition to obamacare. I think any politician who votes against a repeal does so at his peril, especially if they reimplement the few parts the public likes, such as the elimination of denial for pre-existing conditions. It won't matter what the bureaucrats want.

Yup.

Mental illness is not a joke and making fun of it to score political points isn't very funny to me. That's my opinion.

Are you saying Heidi is mentally ill?

According to your article, she suffers from depression. That is a mental illness.
Wrong. She had an episode of depression.
She cured her mental illness. Lakhota, not so much.

Maybe she did maybe she didn't. Depression can often be life long. Why should that make a difference?
Because it's a non-issue. Any evidence she still suffers from depression? Nope.

What I find ineresting is why it's so important to you to prove she no longer suffers from any mental illness? So what if she does?

I don't sense a lot of opposition except by some unions. The reason being is that the VAST majority of people are not directly effected. They still have their employer supplied health care. Those are the people who are in favor of Obamacare, those who have employer based and are getting subsidized, those in the middle, not so much but they are in the vast minority.
