Actually, President Trump was doing a lot. He was building field hospitals in NYC, sending hospital ships, ventilators, all kinds of other equipment requested by liberal governors. He got tremendous Americans like the Rev. Franklin Graham to put up a field hospital in Central Park, NYC.
He worked on treatments and cures, he gave Dr. Fauci a platform to talk, he advised the people to wash their hands after using the can.

Republican friend of mine has been on vacation in the mountains of New Mexico for the last three weeks.
I texted him that things had gone radical in Harris County (Texas) and he needed to whip out those masks and prepare to hunker down again.
He wrote back that he'll be fine because he lives in Montgomery County, (right on the line next to Harris, about 20 miles from Houston).
I wrote back, "OH, OK you'll be fine. Coronavirus doesn't cross county lines." [rolling eyes]
